Browsing US Ebay 10-15 yrs ago, I came across a listing for a genuine '32 Ford roadster. You couldn't have listed it anymore worse than it had been. Listed at a weird time for the Americans, complete car listed under parts, two words in the title, barely a sentence in the description and 3 or 4 photos taken in a pitch black garage, 6 inches from the car and at weird angles not really showing anything but showing enough to confirm what it was and a few details. It was $1100, buy it now. About £700 at the time. I looked at it, looked at it again. I was the 7th viewer on the counter. Now this was when scammers were starting to get ahold on Ebay. I looked at it one more time, thought SCAM and moved on. It wasn't a scam... A real deal original '40's Californian Hot Rod "garage find". Not only that it turned out to be famous car with a famous owner that had been lost for years. As pulled out the garage. This how the car looked in the Ebay pictures. As it looks now. Three figure $$$ car now.

The five port one appears to be 4 x 3/8” UNF and 1 x 1/8” NPT. The four port one is al 3/8” Thanks for the info and pics. Didn't realise the original picture showed a 5-port, thought it was only 4! The 4-ports only seem to come in inverted flare, didn't realise you could get a 5-port union. Your old is 5-port is perfect, 3/8 UNF inverted flare with the single 1/8 NPT port. I'd be interested if you don't want it anymore? Let me know.

Is this a standard Land Rover part? I've looked everywhere for a 3-way fitting with a 4th brake light switch port. Is the switch port 1/8 npt or Unf like the brake fittings?

If you are talking about Aerotight all metal nuts, then nylocs are lighter due to less steel in their construction. However, I call your lightened and rifle drilled bolts and raise you titanium nuts and drilled titanium bolts :-) Obvious really... ! Food for thought?

I’m sure you know answer to this question. What’s lighter in weight, a nylock or aero style lock nut?! I find myself doing this everytime I pick up a bolt...

I have received my Sat afternoon track time confirmation. All paid up for track time and event tickets with confirmation code.
Logged in to site to edit details, couldn’t find anything/anyway to edit details.
I have now entered a second vehicle for static display which I can edit details about.
🤪 Completely confused!

Curious that you run on R888 tyres. I found these tyres completely useless for sprints/hillclimbs as you don't get any heat in them. They are a trackday tyre, which they excell at, so really need heat the more the better. I found them awfull when cold. Interesting, yes they are R888Rs. What vehicle were you running and what pressures were you using? It may also help that I cut out my inner arches so they motor is right next to the tyres and I do have quite an elaborate and lengthy warming up procedure as he is oil cooled... that probs helps me. I also use it for road miles as well, where they are excellent in the dry but will spin up when accelerating in 4th on the motorway... eek. I ran them many years ago on a series 2 106 rallye, in someways a similar car being fwd and lightweight. I drove it daily and also used it for sprints and track days, all on R888 tyres. I got on alright with them on the road but was told many times that they weren't great in the wet. I didn't encounter anything untoward in the wet but properly subconsciously backed off as well! When sprinting it would be 50/50 wether it was a clean run or not, driver skill not included! The biggest indication of tyre heat differences was competing at Lydden Hill. The sprint finished early and the organisers allowed people to hot lap, untimed, if you wished. Doing this allowed me to get and keep heat in the tyres. The car was like night and day difference compared to the earlier timed runs on cold tyres. Same with trackdays. First 2-3 laps out on cold tyres would be a case of tip toeing round, but once the heat was there, nothing would unstick that car. Sorry, can't help with pressures mainly because I don't remember!

What are the entry fees?
I can find all the details, rules, licence requirements etc but no entry fees? Just general admission ticket prices is all I can see or am I being stupid?

What I can't understand is, if a £40ish box 'o' tricks gives more power and better fuel ecomony then why don't they come fitted from the manufacturer?

Love the doing the same, but with the aid of a sat-nav.
Set the sat-nav to totally avoid motorways and just let it lead you.
The roads it sends you down can be mind blowing and it really gives you a different view of this country we live in when you get off the boring, clogged up super highways.

A few years back my dad and I went to Holland to look at a car for sale. The car turned out to be a POS and we drove back empty handed.
We done the whole trip in a day, exactly 24 hrs almost to the minute!
We went over Dover-Calais. The ferry to Holland is slow and expensive. You can clock up the miles much more faster by road than ferry.

Cam Coat do package deals for this. Seems pretty good.

Does anybody know of a company that can be trusted to do it?
Need to UK based. London and the surrounding countys even better.
