Could I go on the reserve list please? Will have either a '98 Range Rover or '67 Land Rover with me. You certainly can.

Personally I'd rather see the Little truck I’d rather be taking it but it smashed it’s bottom end up! Ahhh yes. I saw on Instagram after I'd posted here. That sucks! 😔

A real "survivor car" this low mileage Maestro is an first retro car or just something quirky to use as a daily. Or even as a solid base for a project The later "S" series overhead cam 1600 engine pulls well and keeps up with modern traffic with ease. The 5 speed gearbox helps with motorway cruising. When I was using this as my daily it returned mid 30's mpg with ease. There is NO rot on this car! Yes, the laquer has faded to dull on the roof, bonnet and tailgate Yes, the headlining is sagging at the rear. But there is no rot anywhere. It's really solid. Also, the little icons on the indicator and wiper stalks illuminate with the same as the dashboard! How cool is that?! 2 previous keepers Approx 10 months MOT Mileage is genuine The private registration number will remain on the car as it has been on it from new Open to sensible offers. There are a load of spares also available [/img]

I know I've been very quiet on here the last year or so. 😔
Anyway, for the last few gatherings I've "organised" a "Midlands" stand for these whom aren't really in any other group/club or whatever, and I guess I'll put myself forward to continue that tradition.
Iirc, the stands are limited to 20 cars. *Edit; We now have space for 25
Copy and paste below if you want in!

Superb!
I remember my dad had one briefly when I was a kid. Took about 5 minutes to do the lawn with it! 😂

Good to see this in yesterday's news paper Just what the country needed instead of all the normal doom and gloom Yes, that was all a bit of a surprise to me too tbh, but as you say, it's a little lighthearted piece in the midst of all the misery

I've got a Y reg MG ZT-T 190 manual with 12 months MOT you could have for a bag
Surprisingly brisk, makes a great noise and BMW build quality

I fitted a set of lowered (allegedly) cosworth springs to my old 190e and it was low! Wheels were 17"AMG Monoblock reps. I also added a few bits of plastic from Reiger styling.

Sorry. It's a no from me. Just seems like a lazy way to 'build' a slammed car without putting in the engineering and effort

I've been driving this for nearly a year now. It's a '96 960. As a car it's done all asked from it. Including towing a car on a trailer. The 3.0 straight 6 is lovely and smooth and the transmission more so. The interior is like a gentleman's club and it's a comfy old barge. Just not very exciting, although it will go well if you plant your right foot in the carpet (whilst watching the fuel gauge drop! 😆)
