Not the first time it's been said that I don't so much drive the tikes car but wear it! 😆 I do have to defy physics a little being a not so small fellow!
Great pics 👌

I do indeed know him. The car belongs to paulwhisker . He's not on here a great deal but I can tell you that it's running a BOB 24v Cosworth V6, on triple 44IDF carbs with an RX8 gearbox and LSD

I wonder what the longest thing which could make it the hill could be. It gets tight at the top. We had a great big yank Hearse - that only just made the top s I think we can beat that 😉😆

I have added my name on the list if I am not to late. I have just ordered my tickets and am looking forward to it as I have missed the last 2 due to the show clashing with holidays. Yes mate. Still got room. I've booked a space for 20 cars.

This is great stuff! I've always fancied one of these things. I had a gokart as a kid with the Villiers engine out of an Invacar. It made for quite a fun toy! Please tell me you're taking this to the Gathering next month? I'd love to see it go up the hill As for the gathering...not sure to be honest. The 15 mile run out to FotU was the longest trip she'd done to date...so planning a 70 mile trip seems a little ambitious at this stage. Would be kinda fun to see what the Activa could do on a hill climb too... ...The sight of TPA going up the hill though would give folks a good giggle though wouldn't it! It would be absolutely perfect. Trust me! 😆

That they do which is why mine will be hand built if I do one. The little tykes car? Yes, the tikes car is mine. I don't blame you for building your own body. Having seen the price of some of them!

Now, it's always been my intention to make an Aluminium fuel tank for this, but somehow kept forgetting. However, that has now been rectified this week. So, One piece of Aluminium rolled to form a tube the same size as the current rotovator tank I'm using; and appropriate metal glue applied; Followed closely by the making of two end pieces; and 'glueing' them in place; I added a little bit of a dish to the ends, for aesthetics as much as anything else really. Then I cheated and bought a pre machined filler neck and cap. But at only £8.50 delivered it really wasn't worth messing about with; Tonight should see the tank fitted and ready to "race" ( ) again

Woah! Over a year since I updated this!! So, the original steering mechanism proved to be a little troublesome, so I binned off the old worm and wheel and got myself a steering quadrant from an old Wheelhorse tractor, and with some bracketry got it squeezed into the chassis; With that operating smoothly, I have also spent a little time blending and smoothing the body shell so it doesn't look like a big elastoplaste has been stuck on and painted over. I've somehow forgotten to take any pics of that yet!

Will be watching this. Always interesting to see these things built.
I also had a fancy for a Pat van but they seem to ask silly money for them unless you get really lucky.
I don't know if you've seen mine? I went really leftfield with it! lol

I didn't do the 2 at Haynes but I've attended all the others. And camped at all the ones at Shelsley Walsh.
(not done any weekenders either)

So, it's about time this happened again.
For the last few years I've taken it upon myself to "organise" a group of misfits from across the world of R-R who are predominantly Midlands based. So, here we go again!

I've been that busy lately I'd forgotten all about this.
Are there any spaces left?
