When selling on ebay i've always used fixed price adverts or classifieds, cash on collection. Auctions just bring out all the scammers. Makes my blood boil when people sell things then back out of the sale when it doesn't make enough money - eBay has the reserve feature exactly for this reason, they were just trying to be cheap and dodge more fees.
Report them, move on and find another! If they weren't honest enough to sell the car properly, they probably weren't honest enough to list all the things you needed to know about the car before buying!

That assumes you can find an alignment centre with someone that actually knows how to drive the machine! ^^ This. I've had no end of problems recently getting my cars aligned. 3 blokes scratched their heads over the tracking on my Discovery the other day before a fourth stepped in to show them what to do. Safe to say i'm not going back there again.

www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C893029Nothing to do with me. The guy's description is particularly detailed, even down to describing the torque value of his gaskets to 2 decimal places! I love the M50'd E34 525i, it's a great bargain for someone!

For sale - Honda ATR Recaro front seats. The driver's seat has wear as seen in the photos, but they are in overall tidy condition. They base mount, so would be ideal for sticking in a retro. £200 ono collected from Leamington Spa, W/Mids

My reliable track car is sadly for sale. I'm hoping that someone will buy it complete - I don't want to break! It has been an absolute trooper and has taken me to Nurburgring twice, as well as several trackdays this year. spec: - 140k miles - MOT April 18 - Recent clutch and timing belt at VTEC Direct - PAS cooler - Long intake & K&N - Solidfabs downpipe and decat - Hayward & Scott single exhaust - XYZ coilovers - Hardrace front camber arms - Wolfrace TE37 style rims - Federal RSRs between 4-5mm - DS2500 pads all around - Recent discs all around - Recent rear calipers and handbrake cables - Bimarco bucket seat - Sparco harnesses - Dished wheel and boss - stripped interior, still have rear bench Negatives: - bulkhead rust and rust in front of Wheel wells. Both saveable. - Scabby rear left arch - Track car bodywork! - needs a polish again - slight mismatch on rear bumper - cloudy headlights IMG_2144 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2143 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2150 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2149 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2148 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2146 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2145 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2139 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2138 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2137 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2153 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2152 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2156 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2141 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2142 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_2140 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr mimms-honda-2017-jordanbutters-speedhunters-6003 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr 17990596_10154411399746434_2299275304555211261_o by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr IMG_8789 by Andrew Baranowski, on Flickr

Yes, he's reminiscing about the days he used to be able to afford a full tank in his Discovery V8.. That thing is shocking on fuel.
The E30 however is not, and is still available for sale.

The interior doesn't smell, it's all dry now and the carpets are OK - just threadbare in the driver's rear footwell for some reason. I'm going to put them loosely back in as the sunroof has been sealed by the tape and it hasn't leaked since.

SOLD Short Bio: I purchased this car from a family friend as the MOT had elapsed and they didn't want it to die! I've done the essential work to get it driving well and legal, now it needs to find a new home. Ideal daily drive-able project car! Negatives: - The sunroof is knackered. It doesn't retract on one side, the rear drain holes are blocked with rust from the top panel, which caused the interior to get wet. I've dried it all out and the carpet currently isn't in the car so you can inspect the floors. They're great! I was going to silicone up the sunroof, but i'll leave that to a new owner to decide. - The headlining is yuck. It's also really sagged. Needs to come down anyway to sort drain holes. - The carpet has worn and is in below average condition. - The rear seats have frayed where they meet the backs, most likely from damp. Dry and not smelly though. - The steering wheel has a rip in the leather at 12 o'clock. - It's beginning to crust up around the boot pockets. They all do. It's better than most! - It's really faded. The pics are just after a wash - it's very pink! - Needs a new backbox. It's hit on the rear subframe enough to hole both pipes. Sounds fruity! Positives: - One family owned the car before me. Father, mother, their son and then I bought it from them. - 99k! Genuine mileage, the car is honest, unmodified and was clearly well loved. - Runs and drives awesome! I've driven it on several 100+ mile journeys, gets the usual 28mpg average! - Floors are strong and good! - Full MOT!! - Newish pads all around, new rear discs and new rear wheel bearings - Recent oil change and service - Nearly new Bosch battery Basically i want the car to find a loving home! It's a nice low mileage car that just needs a polish and some attention to bring it back up to quality. I need to focus on my other E30 though, so this has to go. It is very well priced for a perfect spec of car! As the seller says, hope it goes to someone that'll keep it in one piece. Don't see it hanging around.

I hid the E21 shell I had from my parents... Many of us have had too many cars at one point, or bought parts for cars we can't quite afford at the time. Thankfully the thought of stealing serious amounts of money to pursue our dream cars still seems like a bad enough idea for most of us not to do what he did!

Oh yeah - the calipers. Seized old curse word full set of mx5 calipers from an NA 1.6. Ideal to send away to Bigg Red or similar to get refurbished so you don't have to take your motor off the road. £10 if anyone wants them.

Hang in there - a 320i Auto isn't going to sell itself like a 328 Manual, but it is a clean and cheap E36! Have you got it advertised on Car and Classic? Lower spec models often seem to fare quite well on there... Good luck selling it!

There seem to be loads of cheap M42/M44 16v engines available these days, what with everyone 6 cylinder swapping their 318 compacts for drifting...
