A stereo guy i was chatting to the other day mentioned being able to connect a bluetooth unit of some kind into my existing stero. and it would work as it always has plus be able to stream music. as i was after the same thing i wanted to keep my mw/lw only stereo and have modern functionality without it being noticable.
a quick ebay search brings up those retro look stereos tho.

ive had a look under this one myself, its pretty honest with its rust. it is the length of the sill underside on both sides and no further. if i had space id be taking this one off him myself. yes it needs some manual work but a beauty after. pretty much all fc's will need sill work eventually just get it done right on this one.
engine is spot on i own a 12a fb rx7 myself and this one starts on the key without any problems, but yes i agree with you it is alot considering how most people are scared of these cars... but those that know should view it for themselves.

it certainly is, and if considerable welding is the 2 sills then its probably not something your likely to take on. after they are done it will be a roadworthy 19,000miles standard japanese classic. if you ask me i think these things sell too cheap... thanks for taking time to comment, why not ring him and ask him why.
I'm sure he would highlight the mileage but expects to be knocked down.

******************PRICE DROP************************ Hi, posting on behalf of my brother. he is selling his FC RX7 turbo 2 which has full service history and documented 19k miles from new. sorry for the poor images i will update shortly when i get him to send me some better ones. car is based in burnham on sea jct22 m5 no mot, has been stood for a few years and does require some sill work. engine in perfect working order. message me for details of how to contact him directly. cheers. feel free to ask any questions. finally my brother has come around to his senses and selling some of his projects which he has no time to complete himself.. this car with a little work will easily be worth top dollar when done as its a genuine documented low mileage example.

Looking for feedback from any participants, spectators or any other perspective but I'd like this topic to stay focused on just the "Hill Climb" element please Well David has replied to your points and I'm surprised he has done so as comprehensively........ ---------------------------- Which event would you target for "thanks been nice but foxtrot oscar"? [/quote] So what your saying is.. please give feedback but when you do openly and honestly ill tell you where to go and act all high and mighty and suprised i was given an in depth response. (which by the way hotwire thankyou for that, i appreciate it over being told to F'off. although you are the chap that was an ass to me when i briefly mentioned selling tickets per run (limited per customer) last year. tell me are you guys like this to all your guests.? the above mentioned people ruining previous events are not your fault or mine. so i do not see the relevance in your reply to me (other than avoiding a direct answer of prescott don't want us back) i should probably highlight that my unprepared comment was aimed at long grass, and alot of empty spaces presumably form non arrivals. not aimed at the sectioning and placement which i had no problem with. but would it really hurt for the venue to chop their grass a week prior knowing how many lowered vehicles are due to arrive.? i did mostly keep my comments focused on hillclimb but answering your question, i myself would aim for prescott again. stands- keep it as was, limited to 600 showcars (the field was crammed in a good way, no empty spaces) first come first served. retro parking was fine, those that wanted to make the trip to see them did so. again fills up on a first come first served basis. hillclimb- sell ticket per ride up hill limited to 3 per car. sold in smaller blocks first come first served would stagger the queue's to a easily manageable level. and the 3 limit would give a fair chance to all to get a ride eliminating "they got more goes than me" and i would be as strict to say if you get in the kitty litter no more runs for you. (it was clear see the marshalls were curse word off at cleaning up after some) camping- perhaps impose a gate closure at a fairly early time to keep the campsite contained. actually unsure if you did this or not, as the years ive camped i stayed put and got merry, not drivelikeadick. sorry for my lack of a hashtag i don't try to fit in and kiss ill say what i please. misread me if you wish I'm not saying i could do better but i have my opinion if you don't like it ban me, or don't ask for my opinion. having said that i invite many people to come with year each year and they also agree the venue itself is not as good.

Thanks to all for organizing this year on year, i have been for 5 years in a row now and is a must show for me and my mrs. I have to be honest though (and i am not in the fold, so will probably get told "its our show we know what were doing keep your bloody opinion to yourself" like i have been told before) i preferred prescott, as a spectator you had a better variety of corners, better vantage points, and a longer course. as a driver, fewer variety of corners and narrow. (imagine the hero in that 3rotor FC going up prescott) we were told it was due to an overbooking that it moved to shelsley is this still the case.?
also show fields.. seemed less prepared than at prescott. i know this isn't very constructive but hey.
having said all that i am not complaining its just my perspective and enjoyed the show regardless. i will continue to come year after year where ever it is as to me its all about seeing the cars and being there.
+1 for cars like spider 2, i do like variety even if its not my chosen type of car its a pleasure to see things from other generations that i may not have been able to appreciate otherwise.

luckily the size of your hardtop a professional company wouldnt charge too much. and gloss black is the cheapest colour per meter so that will also help keep costs low. it is easy if you know how, an extra pair of hands to help you first time trying would be adviseable and a heatgun to help, just don't over stretch it or it wont stick very well. as for peeling off if done properly with heat applied as you go its mostly never a problem..... unless your paint/laquer is poor then it will likley take pieces off, also recently painted paint that hasnt had a chance to dry thoroughly on will likley cause propblems when laying the vinyl on. i would estimate upto £100max for a company to supply and fit.

brilliant cars, the engine is slightly underpowered in standard form but you wont care when its revving its tips off, and for its size it does have enough punch to be fun. only welding ive had to do on mine was the rear trailing arm attachment area, looked like a tiny hole that on further inspection was about a hand sized plate. it also has a patch on the roof sunroof guttering. they worry the hell out of you like a newborn baby with a cough but so worth it and not selling for all the tea in china.
