I know there's quite a few of you on here who like to smoke round in large engined behemoths, but as a rule, what do you get for your MPG?
My Soarer (2JZGE) Gets 10mpg. 15 on a run. It's booked in for a service tomorrow, along with the calipers getting unceased. Hopefully this will return a healthy increase!

My 318is gets 26mpg around town and 35mpg on a run, not a big engine but not bad considering my dads 1.4 fiesta only gets the same.

Fuel costs and my wallet have had a long running feud!

30-35 in town, 20 or less when I'm thrashing it, 35 on lanes and 40 on the motorway on my 2.0 Williams build. I am cheating though with a custom fuel map ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Hmm mebbe I drive gently most of the time (I don't think so though), but; CRX gets an average of 40mpg (43mpg on Autobahn at 85, more like 45mpg at 70) The E-type managed a crazy good 35 mpg on the motorway (I still don't belive that, though 70mph is 2100rpm) The Escort, with twin 45's etc, always managed 30mpg if driven normally, used to get 35mpg at 70 on the motorway (you only had to gently rest you foot on the accelerator ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ) And the Superminx used to get 25mpg normal driving, 28-30mpg on a run.

Gassed Volvo 240 would get anywhere from 16-23 regardless of driving style (gas was erratic at best)
I'm actually trying to get good MPG from the Dyane.. 42-49 so far, though I know I can get more.

I had a heady 35mpg out of my Mercedes on a run. That would plummet to 14mpg urban driving in winter. That was with the old 2.0 engine. I'm expecting single-digit figures with the V8.
The Bond, I have no idea. Probably not great. ;D

Trans Am gets 17.4 mpg average with my driving. It is running rich so can improve on that.
Omega gets about 22 or 23. Hense it is being sold.

The Rangerover 3.9v8 returns about 9mpg on gas and 12 on petrol The cavalier tuned c20xe returns 30mpg on a run, and a lot less on track The mondeo oil burner (the daly drive) returns a wallet plumping 50mpg...which was nice!

If I drive like a grandad I could eek out about 32mpg average out of the GSi. Usually its 23-24 when I drive normally. I once used £15 of fuel to do a 26 mile round trip to work.

In the T I get about 30mpg on a run, that's a 4 litre flathead with a 5-speed.
In the Anglia I get about 25mpg, that's a full bore 1700 with a 4-speed.

My daily(not retro) 1.9 tdi, mapped to 175bhp 400nm does 60mpg on the trip to work, 45 when being thrashed.
The 300c gets about 30mpg on a run and around 15 when being thrashed its pretty awesome on fuel for the size of it and being a 3.0 V6

Landcruiser daily (4.2) 23mpg if I'm carefull or on a run, 20mpg if towing! Starlet gets about 12mpg if I'm playing or 25ish if being carefull, although will hopefully improve when I get it set up properly, but possibly not now I've fitted twin 40's to it
