Get a gyro going for the steering. You could also fit one via a servo to a big rear wing to help keep the thing pointing to the horizon I have some spare heading hold gyros that I used for an EDF VTOL jet. Going for a reasonable price Lewis

I have two. They do both head hold and rate gyro functions. They cost £60 each new, and have barely been used, although I am not sure I still have the instructions, but you can download that off the 'net.
Something like £30 each, but am open to offers or ideas.

Hmm, I'm trying to keep costs as low as possible, mainly due to being skint. I'll bare it in mind though, as it is an awesome idea

Yeah no worries. I know what you mean about keeping budgets low. I might be convinced to 'lend' you one or both, on the proviso that a) you make it AWSOME and b) if you break them you pay for them Lewis ETA I would want them back afterwards, subject to condition B above

I wouldn't really know what to do with them, lol. I'll build the swine and see how it runs, it can always be re-worked befor the next gathering, I think we've got time ;D

WMA MK2 has arrived. The body shell is a little modern for my liking, but that can soon be changed. Look at all that lovely room in there, wonder how many rockt motors I can fit in? Good chassis for what I want. Bit heavy, but it'll be much lighter once the diffs and motor are removed Should be fun ;D
