I would presume that they can all do that if someone jumps heavily on the end of it out of shot of the camera I thought it was funny. I didn't learn a lot about cars from it though

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

I enjoyed that episode too. Gutted about the reliants, but it is good to see the club seemed to be light hearted enough about it. Can you image if it had been the Marina Club there when they dropped the piano?

I would presume that they can all do that if someone jumps heavily on the end of it out of shot of the camera a couple of paving stones in the back is all that is required as long as they stick to destroying only the 3 wheeled version of Tamworth's output i will be happy

I thought they were gonna pull out a kitten at the end, and just pretend to have added a fourth wheel. Then make a point about how good the car actually was with a 4th wheel.

I think that was a Rialto not a Robin, I wonder if they said it wrong on purpose to annoy people? I had to rant via my Facebook status about that. If it was done to annoy then it succeeded as far as I'm concerned! I suspect otherwise though - they're the type of car guys who only really know about certain cars that are on their radar so it looks a bit like a Robin, therefore it must be a Robin. Whereas I'm just a geek . . .

I feel like the only person who didn't like it... I didn't think it was funny and it was all a bit samey...
I've only just watched the episode on Dave where they got the last "reasonably priced car" new and it was exactly the same, invite a load of people and then talk about the one(s) who won't turn up.
And I knew he was going to turn the reliant over... i'm actually suprised it didn't happen right at the start. Just like when the "Starsky & Hutch" one got hit... and the massive map thing yawn..
ah well... at least it'll save me some time on a Sunday...

Apologies to all who were mislead.... ;D

He was driving a Robin. The Rialto was the one before, which looked like an early metro at the front. When it was revamped with the Fiesta Mk2 front lights, it became a Robin again. Why do I know that?! Vehicle Registration NumberM969OJBMake / ModelRELIANT ROBIN LXColourRED

I don't care if it was a bit 'same old same old'. I very nearly actually PMSL at it. The Reliant bit was stupidly funny and got funnier every time he rolled it.
I was surprised at the size of James's (or whoever actually drove up the volcano) plums tho, you wouldn't catch me getting that close to 1200 degree flying rock ! He'd have struggled a bit if the tyres actually did melt and blowout
