Some tasteful dished wheels and maybe some military style lettering on the sides and I'd more than happily roll it.

like it coz you don't see it everyday, but I don't think I'd roll in it,
if it was a Range Rover on the other hand...

That is flat out awesome!!!!!
I know it'd be almost impossible, without huge expense anyway, but that woul loom awesome on 22" steels rather than the bling!!!
But I'd roll it :-D

erm trying to work out what he's done to the suspension.. the 'upper control arm' is tubular anyway, and '2link' is just another way of describing the stock setup.. plus these came with airbag suspension on the back as standard, and the front can just be nicked of any P38 range rover.. so basically he's fitted 2 air bags on the front from a range rover that slot straight in plumbed them in with a modified manual control valve body and fitted some bling wheels, hardly inspiring stuff.. Oh and painted it matt nato green, that never been done to a Land rover before ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I like the idea behind this. Different wheels would help it no end though.

Simplicity can often pay dividends. Also NATO green has worked for countless armies/revolutionaries around the world so it’s a good precedent to follow.

Well looking at the rear wheels at full drop it's defo been tubbed, as the wheel is where the rear seat should be, and while I don't know what the front inner arches are like or chassis, I'm gussing it's got some serious fab work under the front and the chassis has been notched/Zedded, or it's been body dropped.

is it me or do the wheels look to close together? As if it's been put on a different chassis with a shorter wheel base?

i thought that, but on full hight they look fine, on full drop the axles will move closer together due the the 4 links i reckon.

Spigging Fantastic! I love it and would quite happily roll it as is!
Have to agree withe the fact that its had some serious chassis work though!
Would love to see some 'under the body' pics.

I'm still trying to figure out how filled filled the two inch gap between the wheels and the tyres.
It's magic!

Yeah, there's gotta be some serious work underneath to get a car that is designed with big ground clearance to get that low on big wheels. And to fit 24" tyres to 22" rims Maybe he meant 24" OD? But they aren't quite that rubber band-y

Some tasteful dished wheels and maybe some military style lettering on the sides and I'd more than happily roll it. During the first Gulf war there was a shortage of Land Rovers so anything was used. A mate was in the RAF and they said one of the jobs he had was brush painting brand new Discovery's in military colours. Paul H

would look imensie if it were bobtailed as well Unfortunatley bobtailing is now an automatic IVA test, if it gets spotted, as it's classed as modifying the chassis. AKAIK DVLA require an IVA pass certificate number for their records and this is then avaliable to Police who can see instantly if the vehicle is legal or they need to take further action. There was some talk about MOT testers having to confirm the IVA test certificate number present on the computer record as well if they notice anything "non standard" but I've heard nothing further about that. After a bit of digging I managed to find a bit more.. " ...tons and tons of metal fabrication. has over 15,000 driven miles on it since air-ride was done. was driven to conn and florida with ZERO problems. here is some info on the vehicle. Has 134,000 miles on it,vehicle is in primer and ready for paint.
WAS BUILT BY VILLAGE CUSTOMS IN VIRGINIA BEACH VA. has custom front frame clip, custom rear axle,is 2 link with stock gastank still in tact,cani-lever rear setup, tubular upper control arms, slim 5 gallon tank, 2 viar 380 compressors, square d pressure switch, has independent switches for front and rear, digital air ride gauges, tubbed firewall and tubbed rear, has false floor with hinged access to all airride in rear, no leaks and keeps tank pressure etc. truck rides great and tons of room inside." so basically he's fitted 2 air bags on the front from a range rover that slot straight in plumbed them in with a modified manual control valve body and fitted some bling wheels, hardly inspiring stuff..
