Its a tired Suzuki G13a (8V 1.3) SJ, Aisan carb with auto choke. all the mechinisms on the outside work ok and its greased up.
I think there is a lot of curse word in the fual tank from off roading before my time with it. I have changed the fuel filter twice, the last time only this week.
The engine starts ok from cold initially, then for the first minute or so of driving it feels like its only firing on three cylinders (I reckon thats the auto choke)
During warming up and until its fully warm it bacfires on overrun and WILL NOT idle. It dies straight away and if I keep my foot down its up and down all over the place.
Once its nice and warm it tends to settle down.
Any ideas?
