isn't that nightmares & billyfive's old one? I love it. You gotta have a slush 'box on a big old cruiser - it's the law! unless it's gonna go driftin? was never mine it was evilgeds (he shares the same workshop ) I did at one point think about buying it off him and I have regretted not getting it since as it was and still is a very cool and quirky car

LOL @ the air purifier!!!!! hahaha What engine is in it? Is it a 6-pot? The best thing has to be the interior, that really is something! Maroony red with crazy American style sofa seats! Awesome. I'm sorry, but looking at that and then at a new Mondeo's.

i don't know. i think it works the same as the modern vacuumcleaners, it draws air from the cabin through a filter with an odour and then back in the cabin. But after 22 years, the filter isn't like it used to be i think ;D
Have to open it up sometime to find out ;D

Great buy!
I like how it's an ultimate cruizemobile, but when you push it beyond 4500rpm it goes like stink!
watch the coppers though!

Nice car, but in need of some love and attention. But I'm sure that will be taken care of, or are you purely daily'ing it like it is now? And how is that RHD working out for you?

what they say about RHD driving is true, you'll get used to it within 15 minutes! only overtaking on small roads, when there's a tractor in front is hard, because you can't see past the tractor. But that's about it ;D It'll be my daily for a while yes ;D raised the car a little bit with Bilstein lowering springs. Doesn't look half as nice as it did, but the front springs were litterally cut in half and didn't do much anymore... Drives MUCH better now! Will be making a proper suspension setup to go low, when the KE20 is 'finished' ;D

I had enough of the cherrybomb being the one and only silencer in the complete exhaust. So I went to a local, custom exhaust fitter and bought a new back box from Simons for the Chaser (the biggest one in 2" available ). It has transformed the car, I like it way better now! ;D It's nice and quiet, but still that nice 6 pot sound when you nail it! ;D

the is registered, now need to get some APK (dutch MOT) on it and it's completely legal overhere! ;D Went to a meeting of the dutch Toyota classics club, but i almost forgot how brilliant it drives (after driving for 2 weeks in a bouncy starlet you forget that very fast i found out). Only on the long runs i'm missing a cruise control, so i think that's one of the next things i'll change.

did the last things for APK today: God, it does look awfull, those Cressida lights. They only 'fitted' when i attacked them with a saw and dremel luckily APK is only 1 hour a year, only hope they don't fail it on protruding sharp things before the windscreen After the pass, the Chaser lights are back in so it all looks ok-ish again

What was wrong with the regular Chaser headlamps? i'm guessing they weren't suitable for countries that drive on the right?

What was wrong with the regular Chaser headlamps? i'm guessing they weren't suitable for countries that drive on the right? yeah, RHD countries have the beam facing to the left, to light the side of the road, but that's EXACTLY where the upcoming traffic drives in our country! Oldbus: no time this week to try and get an APK

Just stick a Lexus badge on it and call the local Toyota dealer and tell them you have a Lexus that needs APK, then they will come and collect it ? ? ? ?
