You mean the spot in the video where he lost time?  Goodyear slicks, over-cooked turn, lift throttle, lose momentum in order to make the next gate leading to an easy left sweeper now down on speed, while overheated slicks lose grip and result in more time-wasting fishtailing before back straight. Pity, he had a nice run up until then.  No points scored for style in gymkhana (unlike drifting). It's all down to the mean old impartial clock. |
