If its not got an S20 engine any more... then its unlikely it started with one... Replica and all that. Like a 3 door Sierra with a Cosworth body kit and a tuned Pinto......... Replicas : Devaluing the heritage of great cars since 1921

I know very little about the KPGC-10s, but is that a L 28 in there?
Still nice piece of kit IMHO.
Ain't the real thing though.....and what it boils down to is whether or not that would bother you.

I'm not entirely sure what its meant to be. All the letters and numbers and codes with J-tin goes right over my head. Its a Skyline, right?

OK, take the badges off and then drive it! Then it's not a fake...it's a modded Skyline.

Being not a j-tin buff, is that motor being passed off as an original skyline at the price then? Or open admission of replica but near as damnit status? Looks sweet TBH - but atthe price quoted - I'd expect famous racing driver/owner heritage or something Or am I being naive and a cheapskate?

it's a skyline. badges are telling it's a real GTR.
Maybe it is, maybe it's not. If it is, shame the original engine is ripped out, but it's a nice engine now ;D

OK, I get it now.
Its like when you see a Chevy Nova with SS badges and an LS1 then... shame to have cut up a real one and pointless to pretend it was if it wasn't.

*confuses* So why is it fine to put wheels on from a better spec car or the interior or suspension etc,yet it is frowned upon using the badges? It's advertised as a GTX so it's not like the seller is on the con. I must just add this is not a question aimed at anyone specific, but just asked in general....It seems to be the norm in thinking, but why?
