C'mon then, what wheels do you really like. Perhaps something unusual or maybe a really common choice but for whatever reason the really "do it" for you. I haev a real fondness for these old Halibrand smoothie mags used on Sprint cars and B-ville/drag cars. ***** I also really like the trad 5 spoke BRMs that I guess to air cooled follk are just really cliched. They are a great looking wheel though and look even better when not on a VW, like MarkBognor's Merc or Rmads Austin photoshop. Even the modern 17"ers look pretty good! Go on! What rollers top your list! **** The engine in this car is half a 718ci (11.8litre) Hispano Suiza V8! winfield.50megs.com/Adams/dragster.htm

oddly, anything odd... I mean like not matching front to back - my truck has 14" steels on the front, 8 1/2 x 15" wolfrace slots on the back the lada is probably going to end up with 'odd' wheels too hopefully - so if anyone has a weird pair of alfa / fiat rims kicking about... also, anything corroded up, dull - guess tht would be 'patina' just without the scene tax eh... maybe I'm just odd meself!

The wheels on this: they were sat outside work yesterday and I could get over the detail. Machined centres as well, not cast!

early satin finish Centerline autodrags. Having permanent brain damage from my HO scale AFX slot car toys as a kid, American Racing Torq Thrusts. And finally Empi 8 spokes on VW Ghias. The crazy thing is, I have never had a car with any of those. Ray in CT

Mostly I'm a Rings n Caps guy (fnarr!)... But I like slots too... Also like unusual stuff like original factory alloys that have been stripped of their paint and polished - can't find any photos though.
