Right then, the moment you might have been waiting for, the unveiling of the free Sapporo. As you may know, I had visions of it being more rotten than a otten thing which was a little bit rotten. Well, it's not!! Actually, it's mind bogglingly solid, the bigest problem is the damage, which I'll come to later. The best thign about it has to be, without a shadow of a doubt, the interior. It's like a new car, I kid you not. As you can see in some of the pictures it's sporting a rather gash (dealer option?) cover set. Not only does this include covers for the front and rear seats, but also for the dash top and rear shelf, resulting in a minter than mint interior. The factory stereo and additional tape dack are also still in situ! Bodily, it seems to be pretty solid too. The chrome is rough, but the bumpers could easily be re-chromed. There are bits of rust here and there, nothing terminal, and the body is dent free. The big problems are the rear valance and the bonnet. This has been vandalised, resulting in spray paint and scratches while the rear valance is heavily corroded. The windscreen is also smashed, but crucially it's water tight. Sadly though, the door bottoms have well and truly gone home. I just hope that my body man can repair them because I'm never going to find another set! The mechanical side of things is a mystery, something I'll look into tomorrow. A car which hasn't been run for 7 years isn;t a thing to be taken lightly, so I'll do some thorough checks and go from there. Anyway, enough warbling for now...have some pictures.... ...not bad for free. ;D

Looking sweet man!
You HAVE to keep the velour seat covers - period accessories FTW!
Will have to pop by and see it next time I am in Zummerzet!

The bonnet came up a treat, although my arm has since died. It will need a paint-job, no doubt there, but at least it's now a repair which I a lower priority. I'd roll in it as it is, no worries. I've also got rid of all that blue curse word, sorry, but it's just not to my taste. I've also got rid of the rear seatbelts. They were put in by the last owner and frankly, for the usage it'll be getting from me I won't need them. Anyway, have some clean pictures! Needless to say, I've very, very happy!!

Not bad for a freebie. I've certainly seen worse, seen enough of the ones Stuyizz has broken. Shame about the doors, practically poor quality wobbly children's play pony poo.

Whats that hiding under the steering wheel, a graphic equalizer Nope, that's the Panasonic head unit. It's been put there so that the factory dash wasn't cut up. Besides, the Longmill graphic equalizer is under the drivers seat! (The I.C.E leaves a little to be desired!

That interior is fantastic! Looks to be a good'un, especially for free! The wheels could look really good with a good refurb and some smaller rubber.
