There aren't any for me really. I can usually find something interesting in any car, although there are many I wouldn't choose to own. The only car I can think of is the early Mk5 Escort: To me, it has to be the single worst car of the last twenty years. Cynically conceived in the usual Ford manner to give the appearance of maximum progress for minimum effort, it was ugly, unreliable, out-of-date, badly made and smelt distinctly of yellow citrus. It was slated by just about everyone at the time, and swiftly altered when the Zeta engines came out. But they even got that wrong, the oval grille looking just like the hastily-contrived tacked on mess that it was. Nasty, horrible car Of course, the blinkered British public bought them as fast as Ford could make them, totally unaware of the far superior competition. There may be cars that have dynamics, ride and styling that is considered to be worse than the Escort, but none were conceived in quite the same penny-pinching take-the-idiot-public-for-a-ride manner. And THAT is what I dislike most about them. Ford made such a mess of it that they were forced to make extra effort with the Focus. And they did a good job with that one! HOWEVER, in line with me finding interest in just about anything, I'd still consider an RS2000 one! The one-make road/race/rally championship was quite entertaining at the time. And the shell was used for the Escort Cosworth, a true great

I usually tend to find potential in all cars...people who buy something without looking at alternatives wind me up a bit though. Sometimes cars are great because of how bad they are...the problem is when the owner doesn't know it.

I don't hate any cars ,.. at all. I do really pity cars that have been modified without vision. Yes, I'm with Hotwire here - though there's a few cars I dislike or I just 'don't get' I can't see the point in people who don't drive off-road buying the great huge off roaders they do, I mean it seems the majority of Welsh farmers get on quite happily with their little Subaru 4x4 pickups - why would anyone need a Toyota 'Big Horn' to take the kids to school? Its not that I hate these monster trucks - they just seem out of place and unecessary driving around our urban treets.

Again, not to many cars I don't like but do see as a little bit silly, mainly all the great big 4X4s out there that will never see a farm gravel track in their whole lives let alone a field that have more leather are rear tv head rests than off road tyre tread. don't perticularly like new BMWs or new Mercs (love the golden oldies, 2002 etc ;D ) Although this is possibly just people that drive them who seem to want to try to kill everybody else on the roads around them. And last but not least ill-thourght out cars that are just made for the money, the 'new' Golf, the one we've got now is only a couple of years old, the BMW mini, why?!?!?!?! and new Ford Focus, again, the one we have is great and looks sweet as modified properly, whats the point in a new one? Rant over

Like has been said before there are no cars that I 'hate' but there are cars that don`t do anything for me.
Most Malaysian built cars are fairly non-descript, coming from companies that also produce toaters and VCRs and do nothing for me and I don`t think anybody, who has even the most basic apprectiation of form and function, likes the Mk5 Escrote.
I think it is quite a blinkered view not to like cars just because of their badge, I don`t not like cars just because they are Vauxhalls, SAABS or whatever, I'd really love to have a Mk2 Escort RS2000 but not so keen on the Mk5 RS2000.
Whilst the new Micra and MINI are not to everybodys taste, they are damn fine cars, if you ignore the image problems.
I tend to be more interested in the older stuff and I don`t think there is any older car that I don`t have some interest in, since joining this forum I have become obsessed by 70s J tin. The forum is great because there is such a broad range of tastes and people are interested in other peoples cars.

I don't hate any cars really. I know a few people who hate Imps But thats there choice. I don't like c**v mobiles with over the top body kits and neon washer jets but I don't hate them. If thats what someone wants to do to there car then fair enough.

For some reason I have a pathological aversion to Nissan Micras. Horrible little cars driven badly by little old ladies with no spacial awareness.

I've always had a dislike to Novas, Mk2 Escorts and Capris. None of them do anything for me i'm afraid. Thats not to say I wouldnt drive one though if any of them were given to me ;D Theres probably more but its a hard question to answer as hate is such a strong word

There aren't many cars that I pathologically hate, but like most of you there are a few that I wouldn't own. Hummers are so brutally excessive (and not necessarily useful, Defenders are as good off road and a Range Rover makes more sense as a luxury off roader) that I'll never warm to them. The whole bodykits, huge sound systems and gigantic exhaust tips scene doesn't appeal to me either, but I don't hate them to the point of hiding in the bushes with an AK-47 and ambushing Saxos as they go by or anything, so it's hardly hate! ;D ;D ;D Much of the modern car scene doesn't appeal to me a great deal either, many newer cars are a good alternative to anesthetic when you look at them, and it's getting increasingly impossible to fix them. Anything that is at the time being driven by a yuppie I look at in disgust as it cuts me up on the motorway, but that's far more to do with the driver than the car, so it doesn't count! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D The mere sight of a Maybach sends me off into rants about the rich getting richer, capitalist exploitation, and fat greedy b*stards etc, but then again so does everything else, so it doesn't count either! ;D ;D ;D

Around town there's always one idiot who feels an intense desire to make sure that they are ahead of me. Presumably, they assume that because it's an old car, that it must be slow.... but this can be very amusing sometimes, as at the lights, as I have the element of surprise. However few cars get the chance to cut up the Amazon on the open road or motorway, especially on hills as there's just so much torque ;D There are no actual cars that I hate, but as a general rule, I dislike Max Power stuff, partly due to what I consider to be extremely poor taste, but also the bad attitudes and antisocial behaviour that seem to accompany a significant number of the owners.... I'm not a huge fan of concours cars either - cars were built to be used (and thrashed) ;D. Slow cars don't bother me, as long as the driver is at least trying - a Morris 1000 (or similar) doing 40 / 50 on a fast A road is fair enough, but a modern car doing the same just annoys me as it's easily capable of much higher speeds.

Damn right ! Had to replace a headlamp bulb in the Focus last night, quickest way to do it (not having fingers 6" long and 1/8" thick...) is to take the headlamp out I expect that on my Mini where the headlight site in a sealed bowl, but a 2002 model car where you can see the back of the headlights and the nice little cover that goes over the bulbs - but can you get normal sized fingers to them ?!?! Normally I take it to the local car shop where one of the assistants has hands like a young girl and can just about get his hands in And another thing, why does the damn thing get through at least 1 headlight bulb every 2 months ?!?! Ford say it`s a known fault with no fix ......

The last model ford escort (mk5 i think). When they were designing it they bought all the competitors avar at the time so that they would be able to judge their new model against the compettion. Unfortunately they didnt trhink of upgrading the cars they were comparing their new model against. So when the new escort was launched it was universally rubbished, even by motoring writers who normally just re-wrote ford press releases. Arses got kicked at ford and they started to produce better cars.
Oh yeah and american cars prodiced after about 1980. Badly built, bland, slow and pointless

I only have one car which I cannot stand and that is the Porsche Cayenne.
Owned by brash Essex wives. I hate the looks of the thing. If you want a Porsche buy a real one, otherwise if you have to buy a softroader, get a Range Rover. At least your pretentiousness will be somewhat diluted (although not completely unless you drive it offroad.)

What do people think about multi-million pound super cars that 40 year old lottery winners zoom about in, the Lambo Merchialago etc. All made of plastic, pointless road cars and the drivers seem intent on killing everybody around them.
