Every year I have a tradition of sticking tinsel on whatever is my daily. This year it's the Maestro's turn. Got all fancy and kitted it out with a string of battery powered fairy lights too (obviously not on flashy mode when driving). Doubles up as outdoor decorations to get into the neighbourhood spirit.
Last year I was tooling about in the Princess with gold tinsel. Share your festive retros, past and present, we could all do with cheering up a bit with some sparkly nonsense.

Small soft tops make the best Christmas tree transport 🙂 From a few years ago, when I had my Spitfire:

Many, many moons ago (like, 1985), I was a young 17 year old with a freshly acquired driving licence and a Sandglow Beige Morris Marina. I thought it would be fun to put some tinsel on the car at Christmas.
All was going well until I reached the dizzy heights of about 35mph, when the tinsel attached to the aerial caused so much drag it bent over. All of this would have been fine but for the amount of rust in the front wing, which meant that by the time I'd stopped it had ripped a hole in said wing large enough to stand a Christmas tree in.

First snow of the winter here, I've been locked in the house with Covid (not a very good house guest, cannot recommend, not even 1 star) and braved the cold to get some footage of the fresh snow and got a little surprise when a fox popped out.
