I think last weeks thread is two threads below this as I post, but I continue to enjoy the light conversation/place to throw in some cool stuff without it being part of some monster thread. Hopefully this week I can get some of the "start a thread about that Dave" type things off my white board and on to the forum. In the mean time let's start this with this trailer for a film that frankly looks like it is going to be terrible Previous thread here: forum.retro-rides.org/thread/223426/chat-thread-end-show-season

That looks easily as bad as Le Mans 66 or any FnF film, so we're all going to love it, aren't we?

Yeah I’ll watch that, probably in 6 months when I’m bored and there is nothing better to do, but I’d still watch it eventually

Was there anything cool and modified at the NEC?
Seen lots of classics, fresh&minty was there with his acty, but was there much else that was modified?

Andy Saunders had his newest creation there. I do feel we should have a presence again like we did a few years back. Would be good to get out there in front of a wider audience I think.

Was there anything cool and modified at the NEC? Jaguar XJ220 with a V12 in it instead of the V6. Would have been a pretty spendy project.

Ian Tyrell did an episode on his YouTube channel about the lamborghini film, listing all the technical inaccuracies.

Was going to say that I clearly prefer a bubble top Impala... but that is a 60/61... so I'll just get my coat

Not worth its own thread, but I read in german news, that Jay Leno had a fire accident in his garage.
His face was harmed, but it seems he will only have to cure two weeks before he returns.
Get well soon, Jay!

Not worth its own thread, but I read in german news, that Jay Leno had a fire accident in his garage. I read somewhere that it was when starting one of the older cars, but that is just internet rumours. I'm sure the full story will come out at some point on Jay Leno's Garage.

I can't remember if it was that car or another one but I feel like I've come across a lantis/323f with a whale tail wing before, possibly a rare factory option?

Without the wing, that 323 would be my perfect car (obviously subject to change on a near daily basis)

My friend had a 323F V6 in the late 90s - it was a particularly smooth car that could shift when booted. And sounded glorious! Frameless doors too, I seem to recall.
Doubt there's that many left!
