I'm fitting some wheels to my stupid new daily. This necessitates fitting extended wheel studs. It currently has m12x1.25 studs. I have discovered that m12x1.5 studs are considerably cheaper and more readily available.
Will there be any issues with changing to M12x1.5 other than needing new nuts as well?

In theory the finer pitch will give a higher clamp load and be less likely to come undone, in practice if other cars of the same weight and number of studs work with 1.5 mm pitch I can't see why it would be an issue.

It's a Suzuki Liana, so not that heavy or going to be thrown around particularly

I just replaced the M12x1.25 studs of my suzuki wagon r+ with longer M12x1.5 studs, originally sold for hondas. I don't see a problem other than You need different nuts, too. But now that kevins mentioned that theoretical difference I wonder if the rather low torque of 85Nm is still enough? All my VWs were torqued with 110Nm.
Since my torque wrench is a rather cheap one I used to give the standard nuts 100Nm anyway, so that might still be enough?!

I'll be honest and in the end I wussed out and ordered m12x1.25 ones.

Apologies for being too late, but Rally Design sell M12 x 1.25 wheel studs in different lengths.
