I like a 2000/2500 but really love a Dolly Sprint.  Never got round to buying one and prices for really good ones are heading up into the clouds with Mk1 Escorts. |

 Back in 1994 I ran a lowered Dolomite 1500 whilst cobbling together a ratty Spitfire. Mods, apart from the lowering consisted of a de-chrome,Sprint alloys and Chevette rear lights.  |

*shameless plug* the link to the thread is in my signature  we also have EFR 894W & FRW 802L in the family.  My mum was 8 months pregnant with me when they went to go and view EFR, and i expect she just told my Dad to buy it so they could go home. That was 33 years ago in January and has been in the family ever since. Nut and bolt restoration finished in 1997(i think) and has been a regular at various shows and meets in the Northwest ever since. It also featured on Series 2 Episode 1 of James May's Cars of the People aired in 2016. full info is in a post written by my Mum here: forum.triumphdolomite.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=30460FRW is actually chassis #6 which was gifted to my mum under the proviso that the previous owner knew that my dad would know how to get it working again. Some paintwork and general powertrain work got it working again. My dad is also restoring a racecar he bought, registration KPD105W into a recreation of the Grp1 period racecar in the period livery. I think it will look something like this...  We also have a Stag, LFY 495R  Dad also restored NMA 384L, highly regarded within the Stag Owners Club. This was sold as it was basically too nice to use on the road.  |

heres my Acclaim, probably the most disliked and derided Triumph ever, but I love it. Its a work in progress and will probably never be finished. you may have seen it before but ill put some pics up anyway.    |
