Excuse me peeps for what may be a boring request but could someone explain whats the procedure to watch this channel on my telly? I have a Samsung Qled with the Motortrend app pre installed but not purchased by me yet. I don't fancy the faff of what I understand of having to link my phone to the telly each time I want to watch it! I'm on the Virgin Big Kahuna package only for the car (read Discovery) stuff but thinking of packing that all in and going with plane ol Freeview with the Motortrend TV for my car fix!

I just use the browser on my smart TV. Book mark it and launch to watch. Find that the app is not very good as it is tricky to find some of the shows plus you also want to use a VPN so that you can watch all of the content PLUS, if it thinks you are in the USA it is dollars for pounds what they want to charge, so a saving of around 30% Well worth the money as there is hours of good quality content on there WITHOUT adverts. Enjoy, P.

The Motortrend app only has the stuff that Motortrend produce. So some of the stuff on the TV channel that was made by independent producers doesn't make it to the app. They might end up on Amazon prime or YouTube or something (I know this is the case with Everyday Driver) but...

Not entirely correct there Duncan as Wheeler Dealers is on there as is the street outlaws stuff plus GMG and etc. You need to set your VPN to USA to see all the content. There is no Everyday driver however so it is not a complete one stop shop. P.

I watch it by having the paid add on to my Amazon Prime account, mostly because I can watch it through the app I have on my Xbox.
It works fine for me, but I don't think it has all the shows necessarily, for instance the "3k hooptie challenge" recently came out on the app but not on Prime
