Post up pictures of the car/s you owned when you were 20. This is quite popular on the inter-webs so why not here? I bought this when I was 18, this is how it looked when I was 20. I still have it. Then I bought this Mini as a winter hack (stupid idea ) I still own this too, looks nothing like this anymore it's rusty and very broken. Both pictures were taken in 2010 So post yours up.

Currently driving a 1972 BMW 1602 as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

And I won't sit down. And I won't shut up. And most of all I will not grow up.

In 2003 I had a 205 Rallye, it would have looked like this or this (pics of actual car) - think it was actually in the bodyshop for half the year so I was stealing my mums 2001 Micra.

Photograph from Wikipedia. I'll try to find my old albums later. Mine was light and dark blue. Replaced with this: Also from Wikipedia. Mine was black over grey. The black was Rolls Royce shade and the grey a Ford clour - Windsor Grey?
In between I had an MG version of the ADO16

I'd still got the 1968 Beetle that I got at 17,but as I was going off to uni and my brother was by then driving, he took over with that. I got my student loan and bought a 1961 Beetle, then it was written off within a couple of months so I went back to the beach buggy (GP LDV for anyone who's interested) that I'd bought the previous summer for the rest of the term. Then at the start of the summer I got my Karmann Ghia in a trade for the buggy, and got it on the road just before I turned 21. Eventful year!

'80 s1 924 turbo..hibernating '80 golf gli cabriolet...doing impression of a skip '97 pug 106 commuter...continuing cheapness making me smile!
firm believer in the k.i.s.s and f.i.s.h principles.
