I'm going to have to change all four tyres on the jag one is not holding air and was made in 1993, one was made in 2007 and the other two are greenway or something like that so not great. Looking at the wheels today I'm not overly in love with them and they're not in amazing shape, front two are scuffed and one has a slight bend on the lip, one of the back two has been the victim of an idiot hammering a weight onto the outside rim so that will no doubt have damage when it's taken off, the other looks to be okay. So I'm starting to think if I'm going to be spending a chunk of money on new decent tyres why not get some wheels too? Man maths mode deployed. Here's where you lot come in, give me some ideas/inspiration please. Current set up is as follows. 8J x 16 ET 33 5 x 120.65 Centre bore 73.8 I'm open to anything but don't want to go bigger than 17 inch. I'll start, I like these jaguarsport wheels but just wanted to see if there is anything I may have missed.

That's BM pcd isn't it? I'd go for some X5 Tiger claws myself.

Wondering if all it actually needs is the wheels on it polished up to a mirror finish.

I have a set of 5 of these original Jag wheels with excellent tyres which I'm not using. I replaced them with these from an XJR: PM me if you're interested.

Currently driving a 1972 BMW 1602 as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

If you were going oem, i really like these. Or if going aftermarket. Bola B12 Or because I love them and saw some on a TVR yesterday

bmcnut those Bola B12s caught my eye when I was looking for something to go on my old Mondeo ST estate. Think I'd go with the 5 spokes on the Jag though.

I must be changing, and going old... In your shoes I reckon any different kind of wheel will be hard to balance on a newer shape. The XJ40 wheels will look outdated on it, and the Lattice wheels are a strange one too. A simple(ish) 5 spoke may work however with some careful centre cap inclusion . I'd be tempted to: -either get disasterbus wheels, depending on the age/spec of the tyres and use those, but I might just prefer your design -Take you wheels to a decent but cheap powdercoater. Here, new me, City Powdercoaters charge £80 for a set of wheels albeit, you wait for almost 2 weeks or you can turn up on the day, pay £160 to get the wheels refurbished with a same day turnaround and tyre fitting included, albeit with the wheels tyres going to them only, not the car (that's £240 if you just give them the car to do the work on). At the same time, buy your new tyres, and get them to fit them, thus the cost of tyre fitting gets absorbed by the refurb cost. Decent tyres on that size will be around £100-115 a corner. I'd be tempted by Option 2 personally. Whenever I've bought wheels, I rarely ever get a set with tyres I'm truly happy with, and always tend to notice a difference with new wheels on. That said, I don't like to spend cash on wheels as well, which might be part of the problem (lol)

I was getting ready to pimp out my wheels until I saw you didn't want to go above 17"! As it is the jaguarsport ones you've already suggested are my favourite jag wheel (alongside Xj220 wheel) so go with those if you've found a set. Just in case... 18x8.5 ET35 but they're 5x112 so you'd need adaptors.

Just saw the thread on the ph1 clio posted by bshaw, really liking the sepang bronze on his wheels( and the whole car actually ) and think it would work well with mine in conjunction with the green. Is anyone able to produce a photoshop of it, obviously the not the actual colour but something close? Cheers

Just a heads up, XJs are 5x4.75" / 5x120.65mm technically. BMW wheels are 5x120 exactly.
Apparently the 5x120 wheels will physically bolt up, but the nuts might not seat right, causing potential problems. I've heard it suggested that wobble bolts would solve the problem, but I've always been a little nervous of them myself.

I was aware of the Jag PCD (see my first post) but thanks anyway, I think sticking with Jag wheels is the best bet.
