The first car I had that reached 100k was, I think, a MKV Cortina, long before we had cameras on phones. Several have achieved that mileastone since, some long before I got them.
I've yet to have one with more than 200k on it so I'm really a lightweight in this company. Closest I've come was an Audi 100 with nearly 180k on it when I bought it.

I wish….🙂
That’s the instantaneous readout on a slightly trailing throttle. The long term average readout (approx last 3k miles) is 48.7 mpg.
In general, low to mid 50s in the summer, upper 40s in winter. Best ever tank average over approx 800 miles was 65.5. The degree of self control needed to achieve that means it’s unlikely to be repeated. Not too shabby for a 1.6 ton, 2.5 litre barge designed in the early 90s…. Allegedly it’s capable of 128 mph too (possibly not anymore!), though not personally tried. It was pretty relaxed at 100mph on the autobahn though, if somewhat less economical!

Rolled the Minor's odo over recently. Very few cars I have owned have rolled over in my ownership although many have rolled over before I got them. The Town Car did 12345.6 but I was unable to get a photo as I was driving at the time and unlike the Minor I'd not planned a place to stop for a photo The other end is my mum's RAV4 which is a 2005 car and only just this year hit 30,000!

Did a daft video when the Maestro hit 180,000 and managed to prepare ahead of time to capture the moment.

I've done 300,000 miles a couple of times. They were mostly Mondeos mind you that were family owned. They include: -A Mk3 Mondeo 2.0 Ghia X ; A blown diff stopped that from going to 400k; I broke it for spares at 387k -A Mk3 Mondeo 1.8 LX : I sold that on due to a crank seal leak. It drove very well. It was annoying the leak wasn't spotted when the clutch was done at 325k I've driven a 450k 52 plate Vectra for a short while. Strangely, but not surprisingly, it was not the worst car I'd have driven As for the performance cars -944 Turbo was on 180k. It was far far bette than my 120k example. -M3 is now on 144k and rising The Merc is supposedly on 57k now and the Mondeo is on 172k, and rising rapidly. So yes, I cover some miles! I was a courier for best part of 25 years so have had a few mileage milestones. As for high milers one of my last work vans was a transit connect the boss got rid of when it got to about 230k. I absolutely loved that van, there was feck all wrong with it when he got rid and replaced it with a horrible Vauxhall combo that had far less mileage on it but had the most uncomfortable seats, lifeless steering and terrible gearbox I’ve ever experienced in a vehicle I ended up refusing to drive it. Top of the list though was a Renault master lwb (the old one designed with a ruler) on an H plate that I took custody of when I started working for an air freight shipping company. Thrashed the poor thing to death for about a year until it got replaced by a new transit (on an R plate). I took it to well over 300k by the time it was pensioned off, not a thing went wrong with it all the time I miss treated it. My boss once said to me I must be treating it well because it broke down regularly with the previous driver.

None of mine are impressive. Mini about 6000, dog van about 34,000, the C70 about 40000 in 18 years.
My previous best was 330000 in a Peuteot 405 diesel. It was rattly an loose sounding but still went well.

I used to commute weekly between South London and Plymouth - giving me ample to time to calculate, reset the trip meter, and capture this Sad I know, but not many opportunities to do this!

On the way back from Llangollen Classic Transport Weekend last year, had to pause while some of the Jowett Club turned into their hotel car park.
