I've found a CROWN Customwagen (MS68) for sale overhere. Very rare car, but since i've seen one in the UK on a meet, i LOVE them to bits and want one... This is a complete restauration object, but it is complete... I haven't got any space for it (yet) I can't weld I have more than enough problems with my cars i've got now But this is what it looks like when bog standard: It looks very nice imho, figure it with some lowering, wide wheels and fender mirrors in shining black or something. Have i said that i can't weld and have any space for it? This is probably my one and only chance to ever own one like this, there are probably only 3 left in the netherlands... Damn... why now

Definitely DO IT! Better to regret something you have done, than something you haven't! Also they are too cool for skool!

as soon as i saw your pic i knew it had to be done. you can always learn to weld. you obviously can squeeze some space if you're considering it at all! and time will come to you. it hits my buttons and i'd take it on - no regrets allowed!

I'm old enough to have been at the launch of those!! ,they are brilliant with lots of stainless steel trim. Look for a later wrecked Lexus with air suspension ,V8 and full chassis and do a chassis swap.....I 've seen a Ford Mk2 Zephyr done like this ,a lot of work but all the hard effort for lowering etc is done already. P.S. Rent a shed!!!

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Yep...I'd have to go with the majority here. I'm not the world's biggest J-tin lover but those CROWNs look awesome. Dropped over flaked steelies with pike nuts/chrome bullets/beauty rings, just gotta be done!

Think sensible here... you've no time or room for it so you absolutely, definately, certainly SHOULD NOT buy it......
(my advice..buy it!)
(or give me the phone number!)

You hardly ever see un-modded older Japanese cars any more - that bog standard one makes for a refreshing change, but obv it's your car to do whatever you want with, if you buy it. Go for it if you feel you can save it.
