Just what I've been missing all my life "NOT" Cigarette lighter no good? Or am I over thinking this Imao you are over thinking it. all those gadgets retro fitted is not going to be the future. I think there is too much going on to make it attractive (then again, they didnt build it for me xD) but if you start looking at the details instead of the whole thing youre going to start seeing alot of very interesting stuff. for example: You can now make you own front and rear lights. There is no metal around the front door glass anymore. How do they power the brake servo? what a nice empty engine bay, room for so much other fun stuff instead. Why is there just one pedal? Never seen a carpet like that before in a car. Tons of creative stuff going on. |

yes there are some clever details but it still just looks like a badly chavved up max power machine.

That pretty much sums up my take on it too, the styling isn't to my taste for example a nice minimal and more e-friendly set of smooth wheels or wheels with aerodiscs on would look miles better, but the technical showpiece is what makes it breakthrough. I'd love to be in a position to make my acty an act-e in a few years time. It's worth noting that the slide out rear lamp is done for shows to highlight the power feature - those sockets would be accessible from the boot by rear passengers once the lights are in driving position. |

Funny how this polo seems to provocate some people here!  There were so many concept studies over the last decades and most of them hardly made it into reality later, at least so consequently like the study was done. What if cortina owners had decided not to buy any new ford after seeing the new sierra back in the 80s? Ford would probably no longer exist today. So calm down guys, nobody asks you to like it and nobody tells you to go the same route! So why all the rant? Has the RR dogma of no negative comments been dropped over night? |

It just seems a wasted opportunity given all the alloy wheel manufacturers in Germany. Why follow the Porsche trend? Sticking a Vw badge on your Seat doesn’t make it a Vw... Oops, my bad 😂😂😂

What if the owner/ builder simply doesn´t care what you all think? What if he wanted exactly this style, these wheels, these many porsche emblems?
Shouldn´t he be allowed to show his car to the public without your permission?

Shouldn´t he be allowed to show his car to the public without your permission? He's allowed to build it and we're allowed to write our opinions about it. Relax before you quit the board again and re-register as a new user again  |

Tbf, it does have lots of bits of Porsche on it, like the seats, dash, fuel cap, door handles to name a few. It's also plugged into a Porsche charger so not sure what else they have used.
I mean the front boot lid is even reshaped to match a Porsche.
Looks like it had a smart car engine/rear subframe earlier on in the build!
Yes they could have just put the ev stuff in a normal 6n shell, but nobody would notice it. This actually looks like a manufacturers concept car
