Hi The Doctor,

Well remembered, it is indeed full Mitsubishi Lancer EX2000 Turbo running gear underneath with Vented Discs all round but now with LSD, Multipoint Injection & OMEX ECU running 233 bhp.

The Chevette was bought new by my Grandfather in 1975 so it's been in the family for 43 years & I learnt to drive in it so I've had it for 30 years.

Way back in 1993 I bought a running Lancer EX2000 Turbo from a scrapyard in Cheltenham for £125 after it had been crashed into a tree however it was too rotten to restore (even then) so the Chevette appeared a suitable recipient.

I've been looking for years to find another EX2000 but there were less than 400 brought into the UK in the early 80's so they are extremely rare however after 18 years I have now been lucky enough to find the below & am hoping to build a 16v Version into the Blue (Track Car) using an Evo 3 head & maybe even bring it to the Weekender?

It was a great day today, I really enjoyed the massive variation of cars so hopefully catch up again at the Weekender.
