New studs and nuts for the rocker arms are available from John Eales - It's nice to have the adjustablity to correctly set the preload on the lifters.
Why did westfield need to hammer 7 shades out of the sump - what was it clearing?

I have a feeling itโs a push fit - the rather aggressive barb on the injectors mean the only way itโs coming off again is with a knife.

Agreed - I have some Mocal push fit hydraulic system fittings and I made a rookie mistake of thinking - that can't be right, just a push fit! .... As you say - it was then out with the knife.

Are you keeping the flapper system?, its fine when it works but parts are getting difficult to find and expensive now plus it's not really tunable, the hotwire systems use modern injectors and maf and are easy to use with aftermarket pcm's.

Thanks guys great input !!! I will get the hose pack ordered then cut off whatโs there !! I wonder how tough to push them on ? Injectors are going away to be serviced . No plans to change the current system but who knows ๐๐๐ Trying not to spend too much as Iโm rebuilding the car to sell as I definitely do not need any more toys I am running out of garages ๐๐๐ Gearbox is back all rebuilt , lots of stuff back from being cleaned ready to paint ! Engine bay has all been cleaned and looks mint ๐๐๐

Can you change the length of those trumpets? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick and they're just a conduit for air and you can't actually tune the intake as it were? Keep up the good work!

Trumpets are fixed and are different lengths to balance the overall length of each port.
