so i got bored with my Lancia fulvia coupe , i am waiting for my caprenter to do the interior , and then I think I am gonna sell it .. i guess. I have no storage for it, and I like my cars old and rusty. just like my ladies anyhow (After this bad joke), i got myself a real crapola <3 the plan is to make a shop car, a real rusty bucket.... named....RUSTY. With logos of my shop.... (Check rust incorporated on facebook : www.facebook.com/rustincorporated/ or www.rust-incorporated.com ) this is how it looked. after making the deal , we started packing it... drivetrain...engine turns over, has compression.. could be simple.... full name is TAUNUS SPECIAL AND FINALLY HOME:

The car was in a front end colision, and the front was smashed m so this is thepart of the front end...: door glass is crackewd, I removed it and gave it to be be sample made for both doors. : removed the window regulator , but it had weird screws that hold it.: so i used this tool: part of the dirt and rust on the window holder : making the regulator move again after who know how long...: started to repair the nose : fixed the hinges , monts and the trunk lid is on : parts of the bonnet were broken and left on the hinges: that bit should go here.: welded:D the nose piece had a missing part, so a bit of paper, marker and some welding required.. almost there: finish : instead to remove the nuts that hold the fenders, they ripped them off : so I made the pieces that were missing, removed the nuts ... repeated the prossec on both of fenders to get this : edges of the fenders were cracked... somebody tried to weld it, but it cracked...: my welds don't crack .... and the final product. noice RUSTY, GOOD RUSTY : ITS GONNA BE A SWEET RAT ROD.... fuel tank is in great condition, just need some sand blasting and powdercoating: fun fact, fuel sender isnt stuck and gives a reading

Had to go look up how they were supposed to look originally. Look forward to seeing how you choose to change, customize & hot-rod yours. And to seeing how Ford had designed it originally; looks unitary structure with floor underneath frame rails for a smooth underbody?

went to wash the interior with the power washer. couse you know, it cant get any worse, and i wanted to clean about 2 inches of mud..... well, it got worse.. the driver side footwell was screwed in witha rusty steel panel that was screwed into a rusty and muddy flo.r so basicly when i pulled that out. the car simply folded xD so i had to lift the car, and make the rocker panel and conect the part of the chassis that cracked and went under... lifted the chassis, welded the cracks, and then proceded to weld a l profile to make some rigidity. after that, i removed the whole floor panel went and made the floor panels and some l profils : D just welded it , spot welded so it will hold , so I can put it on the wheels. but it hold so well , I can jump inside and the chassis is rigid. also , the driver side door now close and open...normall< <3 this is simply. left over rust went to check the boxes of parts I got with the car , and clean what could be cleaned... brake cylinder rubber seals. actually , after cleaning..mint condition also , I have a question : What is this rear lamp from? can anybody gues? I only have one complete, and missing one lens, and I WOULD LOVE TO RETURN THEM ON THE CAR. FOR THAT MINTY CRAPPY LOOK.

also , I have a question : What is this rear lamp from? can anybody gues? I only have one complete, and missing one lens, and I WOULD LOVE TO RETURN THEM ON THE CAR. FOR THAT MINTY CRAPPY LOOK. I'm pretty sure they're early Wartburg 311 lamps (the so called 'Schiffchen'). They're rarish and thus not particularly cheap though. Here's a few for example.

This is really coming together. I didn´t expect it to look like a car quite so soon, judging from the first pictures. What´s the plan for a motor? The original four?
