i have a lot of work around the house and the shop before christmass, so the progress is slow. crankshaft pulley was rubbing on the chassis. the marks are real old and rusty, so the car had to be driven like that long time ago. coupled with the wire that holded the shifter linkage, and a lot of hack jobs on the car, no wonder it was siting in a barn for30+ years, the car wasnt mantained... old engine mounts new engine mounts we built higher than stock 2 mm, higher than the old ones cca 13 mm : now the pulley is around 15 mm above the chassis : intake and exhaust. i wond sand blast it, i will give it to galvanize shop, even if it doesnt get galvanised , the acid in the dip , cleans iron cast like NEW. arty detail ford i am planing on converting the car to 12v and puting the modern alternator , electric fan ect, a ignition coil must be 12 v, this one isnt. and it is huge. and rusty... i will clean it , and restore it and put it in my storage, but i got a bosch 12v unit with the parts of that car, so i will use that one , and it can be dismantled and cleaned. two ignition coils, right one is 12 v: another piece of the floor. this one was bolt on and was eay to take it off. there is a part that can be removed and galvanized. so, lets take it out a little heat goes a long way. : its going : bits of kapitan and a master cylinder of taunus , to get galvanized. the cylinder ended up looking... awesome. i shall show it in the next post.

master brake cylinder : piece of sheet metal that i was heating and removing the screws with the gas welder : intake and exhaust camed from the galvanize shop. they look awesome. intal eis like new. the exhaust is cleeeean...just a bit of thermal paint on it and it will look minty das FORD : intake, exhaust and the carb assembled: when the car camed in my yard, I found something in the debris of dirt and rust...that metal piece i had it galvanized. ANd i found where it goes... broken pieces are off : this pieces should be together <3 : the part that is missing becouse of friction i will weld on : a bit of zink paint and voila : DONE!!!CLUTCH PADEL IS FUNCTIONAL !!!! window trim from inside was painted black. so i decided that I shall paint it black to, when i started cleaning them , i noticed that they were chromed...but somebody just applied some paint on them. removed all the paint and had it galvanized. i was hoping that the crome would be even shinier , and that the rust would have a lovely silver shade of zink. .... cleaning : and galvanized. the camara doesnt know what to do with the shine of chrome, so it looks darker and greyer, but it is in person super shini.. the rust is now gone , and it is all galvanized , and the scars are noticable.but look awesome. :

first.make the cable for the chock... material : i welded a wire to the lever, so I put the plastic part in cold water so it wouldnt melt. done : doing some work around the cooler , the purge valve is all clogged and rusted: debris inside : all well : fan shroud cleaned : to start the engine , the bit that is troubling is the electrics , not the mechanics (Or so I thought) : first, we need to give good power from the battery, this is the material : minus is going there: 50 years makes quite a difference in spark plugs, don't you think? : to be continued tommorow. ...

Hi! I hope you changed the engine oil befor the first run....! Nice project! Greet heck no there was no oil in the engine. none. also , the screw for the oil pan was so seized up it was imposible to take it out. and is it large (Like , 9 cm in diameter, so I think there is a wire mesh that filters the oil in tho bottom i guess). so I put new oil inside (15w40) and some engine cleaner, and turned it until the oil indicator (Which actually works) turned off the test lamp. so I was getting oil pressure. the next thing is to modify a an alternator on the pulley that this engine uses (like, 17 mm V belt) and making the bodywork and electrics work... also , when it`s going on the lift, to heat up the oil pan screw and try to remove it. to clean the oil pan (I aint planning od removing the oil pan)

next : i decided to repair and modify the dinamo to 12v, couse it will look oldschool and try to get it to work with those chinese voltage regulators, becouse an alternator would be to new for it... so lets begin... : cleaning : removed : a detail of the dinamo and the safety plate for the brushes : safety plate clenaning from rust and paint to leave a smooth finish. in a furnace brushes and the brush holder : bearing on the rotor. a bit wet and moist. : made the bumper braket that was broken and a metal plate that goes on the driver side: can you ges which one are done? some bumper guards that I found on the local trash and the bumper on the car. prefit the bumper looks without shine , that is becouse i hade it galvanized. i plan to polish it , so the chrome will shine, and the rusted parts...well. they will be galvanized
