I used to own The Stump many years ago, it was created by the talented martin Moorhouse from a bay window van. It took a few years but I finally talked him into selling to me and it was a great platform to display one or two of my Monkey bikes   |

I have one, Don't think I've seen it in the thread, also I can't find pics and I can't remember the builders name. What I can remember is it was a peach kind of colour beetle with polished Carlton GSI 3000 rims, and I recall it being called Homer, maybe. 😃 Maybe this one? |

The pink and blue one was Dolly Mixture and the owner's name was Derek Day. I bought a buggy off him in about 1995 and he owned a string of unusual vehicles.

These are all excellent, I'm sure I'll be bugging (no pun) Stu and the B289 crew with questions. What has there been in the scene from the last ten years or so that have been winning/firing up the imagination? Max from Eva Resto has been building some pretty nice Bugs. His latest Mexibug in BBS is special. Also try and get Josh Gresswell to get his Link Pin converted 1303s back out and about! |
