Wow that Jowett Javelin Jupiter coupe is a thing of beauty! I always thought Denmark had insanely high import taxes on supercars and the like, pretty sure my friend did some work for a client over their with an insane collection of exotica most unregistered due to the taxes

I happened to go to the viking museum a couple of years ago when a smaller event was going on there. Sort of local thing. They where very surprised with the appearance of a 70s Toyota on Dutch plates

skinnylew - yep, I was told import tax on cars is at least 150% The Doctor - they have a "kick the tyres" meet there every Thursday, the one I went to was just their normal weekly get-together It sounds like you can find a local meet every night of the week during the summer ( the other meeting I went to was a regular Tuesday event ). No chance of getting bored

On to a cruise at a local port, which had some rather special machines One for @grumpynorthener ? Apparently this was imported as a rolling chassis with bulkhead, everything else on the car has been handmade or modified to fit. Amazing & absolutely lovely ! And a promo vehicle for the local Jowett restorer Everything forward of the A posts is Jowett factory coachwork and everything from the rear of A posts is custom built - a number of chassis were made available to coach builders whom then clad the cars with their designs some were ungainly and others very desirable - this is one of the more desirable built ones - Ib Rasmussen is a larger than life overseas Jowett Car Club member and very well known in Jowett circles - has a Jupiter prepared race car along with several other Jowett's - it's a small world Great Pic's Nomad & well spotted

I'm off to Copenhagen in a couple of weeks for a long weekend - looking forward to it even more, now I know to keep my eyes peeled for cool cars :-)
