So after a slight incident with my daily mondeo and a hearse, I found myself urgently in need of a new daily.
So off we went shopping over the weekend, looking for something along the same lines of the mondeo, modern-ish Estate, Air Con, Cruise control, etc... What do I pick up today? a 99 Subaru Impreza wagon... It's the non-turbo EJ20, and an automatic, but it was close enough and cheap enough that I can live with it for the short term. Until I get tempted to pull the motor out and shove it in the back end of the buggy
Few jobs to sort out, but what do you expect for a cheap car from a second hand dealer
Oh and some better wheels and tyres are needed, and I have a feeling some kind of suspension lift. A quick google suggests Forester stuts may be the way forward.
