For some reason i cant fathom, i have a liking for beige kia souls, the ones that look like krytons head. I cant imagine how soul (haha) destroying it would be to own one, but i cant help but smile when i see one.

I really want a mk5 cortina estate. Put a Mazda mx5 engine and box and use as a daily driver. Better off with a zetec and MT75 no?

not really a dirty desire , more of a wet dream...(STOP SNIGGERING AT THE BACK!!).....anything amphibious as long as it has more performance than an amphicar , one of these would do nicely!! www.gibbsamphibians.com/platform/aquada/on the subject of skodas , having driven stacks , I'd take a saloon over a rapid any day of the week , personally I was always comfier in an estelle!

I really want a mk3 transit, bit ratty, slightly lower with a 2 inch band on the standard steels.... I've got 3 escorts to sort out first! I have a strange obsession with 'traveller transits' as the wife says.

I really want a mk5 cortina estate. Put a Mazda mx5 engine and box and use as a daily driver. Apart from reasons of economy and, maybe, longevity, I'd stick with a 2 LTR lump and a 5 speed box. Ive had plenty of 2 LTR Cortinas from MK3 on and they are pretty quick and, certainly, reliable as standard. One Engineering firm I worked for back in the 80s had a beige 2 LTR estate that was a managers car but used by just about everybody else to go and fetch machine parts, lumps of metal, anything. It was massively abused, could hit 70 in second and was damn near bullet proof. No reason why one couldn't be used as a daily now, infact it's nigh on the perfect Retro daily.

I have a strange obsession with 'traveller transits' as the wife says. I've got a fairly ratty-looking mk5 with bits of wrap all over the shop from the previous owner trying to peel it, with the 2.3 16v petrol(lpg) lump in it. That photo's making me think of how to get it a bit lower... and whether I can afford the cheap Chinese manifolds to fit a junk-yard turbo. Please stop it.

I've never shaken off my secret lust for an Audi A2 1.6fsi. These must be approaching retro territory soon. I've always loved the originality of the design.
Also love the Allegro, but actually love it's weird half-cousin the Ogle 1000sx more. I would REALLY LOVE one of those.
And I have always wanted a Smart car. Either the sit-up-and-beg with all the (largely pointless) Brabus trimmings, or the little sporty glassback coupe.
And I would love to be the proud owner of one of those stupid Aston Martjn Signet Toyota Yaris that they did for no logical reason for a while.
And speaking of Smart Cars... A Daihatsu Copen with a hard top. Love those.
Sorry there's no pics to illustrate. Too much like hard work on my very retro Microsoft smartphone.

I fancied getting a Delorean, but the prices are just crazy. (If anyone knows of one just 'sitting about' please do let me know ! Other vehicles I'd have to get , even if only owned for a month or two, just to tick them off the 'because I haven't had one before' list Tesla Model S A bus. Something with a Cherrypicker on it. An amphibious vehicle.

Modern stuff that appeals:
Definitely something electric/electric-hybrid. Civic EMA or a CR-Z.
At the opposite end a big (modernish) 5+ litre V8 Merc luxo barge, with all the leather and double glazing.
Older stuff that appeals:
Something 60's and French (not that it is a dirty desire), slightly more dirty would be something earlier and French that can be rodded.

I want to be sacrilegious and get a Maybach 62 slammed over some 20" Lorinser wheels.
Or
A Chrysler neon SRT 4 with a bug eye Impreza WRX body kit grafted into it.

I must be the only person in the world that wouldn't mind one of the new mustangs... without the 5.0 Nope I would have one NOW but that ain't a dirty secret Yep me too, and I reckon that the non 5.0 versions will be cheap as chips in the not too distant future!

I've fancied one of these for a while... A Ford EXP, I've never seen one over here, and only ever seen one for sale in the USA. Don't know why I like it, but I think they're soo cool!

Sat next to a Chrysler 300c HemiV8 yesterday and remembered that I possibly stand alone in liking the 500c... As long as it's the big Hemi version.

^^ 300C? I like the 300C, especially the estate version. Yes. I realised my typo and corrected it mere moments before you typed. I really like the300c but I've never heard a kind word said about it. People who don't like cars dislike them for being large and arrogant looking, and car heads generally seem to dislike them for being a failed attempt at a retro styled car. I've always really liked them, but would only go for the Hemi version. The estates do look greattoo. The Dodge version was the better estate I reckon. Less bling, more sport.

Not seen a DS done - (but there probably is one somewhere) I would keep the suspension has factory original but a DS estate with a large Chevy V8 - now that would be pretty cool

A dark grey estate would do me as long as it was sans chrome.
