So, I know its no 100% accurate, but I just went on how many left. It looks like no Mitsubishi Tredia's have survived. I thought they where pretty cool, and was hoping to find a Turbo Tredia at some point. Has anyone else found an extinct car in their search for the one.

There was one identical to the one pictured for sale about 5 years ago now I think and looked in very good condition. The Mot run out in 2014 but dvla shows its sorn now, but it also says yes in the export marker section so it looks like its been taken out of the country.

4g63 engine took a fair amount of abuse. 5 speed gearbox was interesting in that it was more like a 4 speed with a pneumatically selected fifth gear. Couple of mods and tweaks and you could have an 8 speed gearbox....lol

I am prety sure there is one in a village near to me. It has been parked up in someones front garden for 3+ years and hasn't moved in all that time. It could well be a lancer though. I am not very clued up on 80s mitsis

'80 s1 924 turbo..hibernating '80 golf gli cabriolet...doing impression of a skip '97 pug 106 commuter...continuing cheapness making me smile!
firm believer in the k.i.s.s and f.i.s.h principles.

Someone needs to rescue that, unless the owner is planning to. Rare and cool little beastie.

A Tredia Turbo. Tax on this was due in 1992 so I'm guessing it is bean cans ... however it comes up as a Colt in the DVLA database, so may be worth searching under Colt rather than Mitsubishi on how many left?

This was mine, it was written off after I sold it in 2009, shame as it was an interesting car, had the 4 speed hi-lo box in it too

Mike D, that's a shame. Is that the nose of a Colt GTi I spy?

Thanks for the suggestion Hotwire, I got caught out before with that but that figure does indeed include the Colt and Mitsubishi.

That's a Early Mitsubishi lancer turbo I think Its a Lancer EX2000. I would be interested in saving it if at all possible.

That's a Early Mitsubishi lancer turbo I think Its a Lancer EX2000. I would be interested in saving it if at all possible. Yeah it is from from I have found out about it. I would imagine it will be completely rotted given where it has been kept for the last 3+ years. I suspect it has been there longer than that. I'm half tempted in it myself, but given I have a mazda 323f pop-up headlight model arriving next week the wife may well kill me. The performance figures for them are impressive for an early 80s car. Nippy by modern standards. Going on the other cars in the paddock I guess whoever owns them isn't interested in selling. I will have to do some digging to find out who owns it.
