I just wish I could get all my photos off Photobucket You can. But you will need a hard drive to put the pics onto, well I did ; I was running out of space! If you have Google Chrome download the Unlimit Add-on, also called Photobucket Album downloader. It will cost £1.29 but it will save ALOT of hassle ; you can guess what I've been doing! For the price of half a scoop you can DL many bits back. It has a few limitations including: -If an image is corrupted in an album it won't let you download the album ; I've only had this happen to me twice over thousands of pics -You can only download one level of pics in an album. If you have sub albums you'll have to go into them and DL them as an album themselves. chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-album-downloa/jmpbbfglflhdhbmimlcacoojpkeopelc?hl=en

$99 is still $80 more than flickr pro which has unlimited storage and hotlinking. $80 more??? So Flikr pro is just $19.99 not sure you are correct $50 maybe if you pay in one hit - the monthly option is $5.99 (x 12) is $71.88 so it's only $28 difference Not defending PB in any way shape or form but it rather telling that as a long standing plus 20 account holder they grandfathered my 3rd party hosting rights until my renewal, refused to offer anything other than the £399 option for a renewal with 3rd Party Hosting when I contacted them regarding my options and then quietly auto renewed a "no longer available" plan (which had 3rd party hosting) I suspect they recognised that those customers who were already paying for something above the "free account" were probably not worth the full black mail process

all thats over my head lol It's easier than putting the images onto PB. Trust me . In short: 1) DL the add-on onto Google Chrome 2) Within Chrome go to your PB account 3) Go into each folder and DL the photos by pressing the Download Album button on the right, as shown on the page. This will download the pictures into a folder per download After that, you can extract them from the folder and do as you please .

If you can get into you pb account and want the photos look at the guide linked about a page or 2 back.
Very straightforward to download all of them.

So if you want non-PB hosting that works on mobile, is imgur basically the only option now? I got hacked off at the PB ransom demand and moved all my stuff to Dropbox Plus. That has a mobile app. 1Tb of storage and hotlinking allowed. OK it's £7.99/month, but it's stable, here to stay, and I'm feeling that all hosting is going to go over to a payment method fairly soon anyway. It also has a cascade filing system, which is my preferred method.

Another fix given out . Photobucket fix Found in another forum a fix for the "broken" photobucket links. I have tested it in Chrome, there are similar solutions for other browsers... Ctrl+V from another place: "As we know photobucket has gone down the charging route and some great photos from the pages on this thread have all but gone. Use these instructions below and trust me it works. I can see all the photobucket photos on here again. Its from Google and is free. If you're using Google Chrome, go to the three dots on the top right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again. Feel free to share on other forums...

i see photobucket have realised just how badly they have shafted themselves. I've now got an email from them saying they will do third part hosting for $99 per year, rather than $400.... "Hello Jono, We would like to offer a tailored plan for users just like you - our Premium plan for $99.99 / year. The Premium plan will provide 3rd party hosting for non-commercial use on your forums, blogs, and personal websites*. Additionally, you will be able to store up to 300,000 photos. We are working on some exciting changes for 2018. This is our exclusive introductory price and this offer will expire in 7 days. -Sebastian" Still investigating what went on with my account - they debited my card with $34.99 - which was the renewal price for Plus 20 - an option which is no longer available - all the images I left in the account are still displayed on multiple forums - I'd brought the account down to 2 Gb of images stored in case it reverted to a "free account" So in Nov last year PB sent me an email STAR- TS This message is to inform you that we discontinued the Plus 20 plan in June of this year. We have grandfathered your expired plan for several months as a convenience. In order to keep your account current and all of your content available, we are asking that you migrate over to one of our current Plus plan offerings: Plans Failure to do so within 30 days will result in your billing to be suspended, and your account will be reverted to a free account. If you have any questions about your account or which of our current offerings is right for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. - ENDS So I read that as Plus 20 is dead - you need to migrate to alternate plan or my billing will be suspended and account reverted to a free account So I got the account down to under 2Gb - I didn't need to do anything else Then as stated above in Jan they billed me for the Plus 20 Subscription and it seems from the email of today I have another year of "grandfather rights" Email today said STARTS - This message is to inform you that your Plus20 subscription has been discontinued. You will continue to keep all of your plus benefits until your expiration date. In order to stay current post expiration, we ask that you upgrade to one of our latest plans. We are recently rolling out two new plans for 2018 which offer additional benefits and far greater value. As a valued customer, we are offering these plans as a preview to you before our official rollout. Blah blah $99 and $399 - ENDS My subscription (as a result of them taking my renewal at Plus 20 rate of $34.99) now expires Jan 2019 I guessing by which time they expect me to migrate or my billing will be suspended and account reverted to a free account.......... That worked well last time..... I wonder just how many years this could go on for?

I just wish I could get all my photos off Photobucket Take a look at gist.github.com/philip...e1eae2d999a2529a08c15b06deb13d. PM me if you need any help, happy to figure it out. You should still be able to download all your images to your computer. Edit - URL is broken, I'll fix it tomorrow. Thanks Joey! I got them all off using the Chrome extension mentioned earlier and then had great pleasure in telling Photobucket, when they offered me their 'special' $99 per year offer, that I didn't deal with such unprofessional gougers and I had cancelled my annual payment.
