They are a kit car, from a British company called Pembleton. www.pembleton.co.uk/ Funky little things. The engine does look like the body was designed for something else though.

(flickr is a PITA) I quite like the lomax, I think the engine sits a bit nicer.

Great little show mate. I used to have a Kreidler. We use to "fly" over the Moerdijk brug trying to keep up with traffic. She was a pretty fast little bike. I also owned a Zundapp. Same color as the green one in the background. A CS with "handbak". I remember Liempde well. I remember going on a school camp in Liempde. We also went to Loon op Zand and Veghel. Does the Autotron still exist?
Thanks mate

The handlebars pivot, as you push down on them it pulls the chains up, turning the cogs on the axle, basically you pump up and down on the handlebars to propel you forward - it also had normal rear drive as well... a very odd thing!

A 2WD bicycle then Is the collection/museum was at the Autotron what became the Louwmann museum when the new building was put up? We happened across an autojumble/show at the Autotron when we were in the area on holidya a few of years ago.

Would be amusing to watch someone ride it, think you would end up looking like a nodding dog. As I understand it, the collection that was at the autotron was moved out and became part of the Nationaal Automobile Museum, which in turn was bought by the Louwman family. Or at least something along those lines...
