I want a van I think, for camping and lugging. T4's are seriously over done and outpriced now for what they are.
But are these old Mitsubishi and similar style/size vehicles about. Or have they all been exported???
Pros/cons???

The Mitsubishi L300 might be a struggle to find one, I can't remember the last time I even saw one! How about the Hyundai H100?

Had an l300 and loved it and regret selling it as it was solid, have a l400 now and it's just as good. It's a bit more roomy and up to date and definitely a lot quicker.

Mitsubishi L300s are everywhere in Australia and are considered the worst and cheapest Japanese van you can buy. I'd choose a Toyota HiAce every time.

What about a Transit? Cheap and plentiful, loads of spares and look great modified. T5 coilovers up front, lowering shackles on the back!

Slightly left field, how about a people carier? Better spec than a van, if you want a vw, then the sharan seems to be very unloved by the scene, so prices are low, or if you fancy American then the voyager might suit, or chose Japanese or Korean. Ttfn Glenn Follow Grizz and go for a berlingo?

Not sure about the worst, as a work van they're pretty tough till the body falls off them, a friend drove one from Brisbane to Alice via Cairns and Darwin running mainly on 3 cylinders...

Heres details of my Mitsubishi L300I bought this around 2011 and stillown it,i've not done much to it since the build but it does get used every year. My daughter will outgrow the hammock this year so I am contemplating fitting a pop top from an Elgrand as the dimensions are similiar. I spent ages looking for mine and that was 6 years ago.You still see some nice SWB ones turn up but i've not seen one as clean as mine for a long time.I am sure there will be somewhere. I only wanted an L300 as I used to work on them in the eighties at a Mitsubishi dealership (I also have a 1986 Lancer!!) Anyways good luck and the H100 is a great compromise - I looked at those at the time also..
