Bmw 520i se 139,000 12 months mot 5 speed manual £300 service carried out in October 5x bbs wheels with excellent tyres 4x electric windows Power steering Central locking Panoramic sunroof (seems to be stuck, motor turns but doesn't open) Front fogs CD player Full original tool kit and glovebox torch Lovely car to drive, starts and runs superbly
Downsides are : laquer peel on passenger side Panoramic sunroof seems to be be stuck closed, possibly from lack of use Bonnet badge missing Drivers seat a little worn (sadly common on cloth bmw interiors of this era). Viscous fan is stuck on so engine runs a little cooler than it should, no bad thing, new viscous coupling is £30.
All in all a very tidy example of a BMW e34 touring with low mileage for the age.
£500 st austell Cornwall

What sort of MPG do you get out of this? And how much room is in the back with the seats down?
I'm after something for going round Europe in.

Masses of room, they are a big estate not like modern estates. MPG wise I would say 30mpg average maybe a shade better if driven sensibly.

Yep I am amazed I have sold it yet. £800 with a years ticket and needs for nothing. All tyres and brakes as new, good exhaust system, starts and runs superbly, all dash and interior lighting works, no rogue warning lights.

As long as the sills are solid they're a really usable thing, as you say they do about 30mpg, are huge with the rear seats down and comfortable cruisers
On the sunroof, long shot but have you had the battery disconnected recently at all? If you have, the roof needs to be reset before it will work again, just have to push the button upwards for about 10 secs or so

one big advantage of this over a lot of e34's is that it doesn't have the plastic will cover wide skirts that trap damp and dirt in against the sills. Also means you can inspect the sills unlike most that could be rotten as hell bug with nice plastic hiding it!
Anyways I have little space or time for this car now so £650 takes it.

Going to be in St Austell next week on business - if this is still available will have cash and can take it away. Sent you a pm, with my mobile number. Let's do a deal! P.
