I'm gonna swap in my 1300cc engine in my car this weekend.
It's a fully blueprinted engine, ligthend and balanced crank, lighter flywheel, bigger valves (the biggest that can fit in the head), port & polished head, lumpy cam (dunno which one, a custom one) etc. etc. etc.
The engine delivered almost double the power it made stock.
The twin 40 DCOE webers i've got for it, are set up for a 1600cc engine, so the car probably won't run on this setup.
I'm gonna swap the engine in, 150 km away from me, is it ok to run it home on the stock 1200cc carb i've got on the stock engine now? It's just for 150km, so I can fiddle with the carbs at home, and then tow it to the guy in my town to get the webers tuned properly. I'm afraid i'll kill the engine if I do, but on the other side, I don't want to tow a car 150km home ;D
Anyone got an idea?
