What will Santa be bringing you folks this Christmas? For me I'm just getting a genuine sales brochure so really nothing interesting. Come on then ... let's see who is getting the best classic-car related gift

My favourite car related gift was from a well meaning aunt many years ago. It was a combined wire wheel and grille cleaning brush. Brilliant, but at the time I was running a '66 Sunbeam Alpine which had neither wires or a grille.
Still, it's the thought...

Not sure what I'll be getting but a few requests have gone in - a new chunky 3 ton trolley jack is one example to save my nerves when jacking the truck. For my Mrs however I will be giving her a stack of parts from the blasters for her to paint over Christmas... never let it be said that I'm not generous (Joking aside she will love this as it's for the A35 project).

I haven't actually asked for anything car related as it usually confuses anyone but my Dad! I can guarantee I will get things with VW campervan designs printed on them because everyone knows I'm a VW fan. Maybe this year it will be the toast rack, letter opener and shoe horn.
I did alright last year actually - some cool Corgi diecast Golfs and a very good book about the Golf.

Usually i get a couple of the Corgi Vanguards models - I just do a 'wish list' of the latest releases but don't know which ones i'll get until the day.
Will also probably get some stuff for my Bluebird, but the only thing I know I've got for certain is a set of genuine NOS mudflaps for it, spotted them on ebay and was going to buy them myself, but the missus - who was sitting next to me at the time, said she'd get me them for Xmas
Do need a new bonnet for it but don't think Santa would get that down the chimney! be funny though if I went downstairs Christmas morning and there was one wrapped and leant against the tree

I know that I've got the Lego Mercedes Actros as it was me who signed for the delivery. It's almost inevitable I'll get a whole pile of splittie tat for the charity shop as well, from people who ought to know better...

Iv'e asked for a height gauge and set of micrometers so I can actually measure things accurately, I also believe a new jigsaw is on the way(lidl cheapo one which never cut straight burnt out on 6mm steel) my 14 year old son also wants a bandsaw so that will involve some garage re-arrangement.

Either you have calipers or you don't but they aren't good enough for your purposes? Or are we indeed thinking of the same thing xD
