Great pictures. What is the story with the GMC pickup with the the Model A on the back? Is that a separate ramp added to the bed? P.

Some of my poor quality photos of the Hot Rod and Custom Drive In Day at Beaulieu taken on 400 asa Truprint film that expired in 1984 with a 1963 Kodak Retinette 1B. I disagree, the photos are great.

Great pix, good quality vehicles apart from that p.t cruiser 'thing' they seem to get everywhere? Never liked them, never will. What do they charge to 'get in'?

Great pictures. What is the story with the GMC pickup with the the Model A on the back? Is that a separate ramp added to the bed? P. I didn't take that closer look at the back of it to be honest, but i thnk that it was exactly that, just a ramp instead of the bed so that they could transport cars. Personally i wuoldn't have had it so steep, but i guess you need to have the transported car as close the the middle of the two axles as possible for weight distribution. Great photo's PP. How do you digitise them? I usually get a friend to develop them for me, and then i use an old Epsom Perfection 4870 flatbed photo and negative scanner to scan them, and thats all. I don't really play around with the scanned images. I could probably get them a bit better, make the colours right etc, but whats the point? I quite like the wierd colour shifts, for me it adds something to the picture that you just don't get with the clinical perfection that you get from digital photography. Great pix, good quality vehicles apart from that p.t cruiser 'thing' they seem to get everywhere? Never liked them, never will. What do they charge to 'get in'? I'm not a big PT cruiser fan either, for exactly that reason, they are everywhere, however oddly i find myself looking at them more and more, so i'll probably have one at some point, especially as they're so cheap right now lol. As for the price of admission, well that was kinda expensive, for my family of four they charged a whopping £64!! Which frankly is an obscene amount of money in my opinion. I took more photos of the event on my digital camera, and i have posted a few more pictures of mostly '32 Ford hotrods in black and white here near the bottom of the page.

Pictures are great, unsurprisingly with old film on an older camera they look...old. Some nice stuff there, fun cars I can only dream of (not enough mechanical know how or cash).
