After getting a nice parcel from Germanyland, I broke out the paints and made this. A small parcel from China helped. Then, after some farting about, this occurred. Largely finished. Rear end needs some work on the lower bumper and a spoiler. Not quite how I wanted it but the huge level of work required to make it right wasn't warranted this time. Overall, quite happy. Super dorifto weapon.

I remember drooling over tt01 cars when they hit the market... Never got around buying one though.

Thanks folks.
Racers Paradise do loads of Opel bodies and a "chassis in a bag" for under £40 if anyone needs one.
Next step, a bunch of ancient Tamiya stuff.
