You're more diligent than me. Point-and-shoot, plug into computer, upload to internets. Lazy.

I love the members meet, but how bloody cold was it/is it! My pictures look like they have been taken with a potato compared to these so will just enjoy yours rather than spoil everyones eyesight with mine... P.

Watched the live stream yesterday - the Edwardian race was the most utterly insane thing I have ever seen on a circuit. I NEED to go to a VSCC meet this year.
Hope the driver involved in the accident in the Bruce McLaren Trophy is OK too.

You're more diligent than me. Point-and-shoot, plug into computer, upload to internets. Lazy. I just want to see if I can make the 50% dark 50% light garage shots look a bit less bad. Watched the live stream yesterday - the Edwardian race was the most utterly insane thing I have ever seen on a circuit. I NEED to go to a VSCC meet this year. yes yes you do. And (if things go to plan) come to The Gathering I love the members meet, but how bloody cold was it/is it! Most of our energy in the run up was working out what to where,.. not for theme, but for warmth. My wife pointed out that she didn't know what they would do if it was wet, there isn't really a lot of cover. I think we'll be back next year, even with the cold!

I've been googling, but found zero, maybe i need to update my google skills, or is it something insanely underground i'm not allowed to know? It is a bit 'old school' in the way that it is like being back at school... They are 4 'houses' and the members compete to win points for their house. The public can join in by competing in Welly Throwing, Duck corralling, ferret chasing etc to win points for the house. All in all it is just part of the theme of the event. I have been to all of the members meets and this was the first one that I didn't try to dress in an appropriate 70/80's theme, opting instead for the rather more sensible 'warmth' option. Thermal vest, long sleeve T shirts, 2 jumpers, leather jacket, hat, scarf and double socks and still freezing. It is the wind that makes it so bitter, just like every other airfield based car event you have been too. Just noticed that we are in your picture of the 3 lotus on the start finish line above the pits. The benefit of wearing ridiculous headgear.... P.
