Its not just wheels, its anything with an engine. Built one of those little traction engines you use with a tea candle when i was about 7. From then on i love any engineering. Currently got my mk1 astra,a chevette estate,mk4 astra and my plaything a 1985 rm250. Also been into vespa`s for years and have just rebuilt my v100 smallframe ive had for the last 20 years. If its got tits or an engine i`ll be interested lol. I deffo don't think you`ll be alone.

I used to be allowed bikes (used to be a courier) until I broke one too many limbs and She said "no more". In my day job I drive 32-wheelers though. Sometimes even 96-wheelers. Tastefully modified in a retro stylee, naturally...

Love anything mechanical always have.. Had my own little garage for a while, then worked in a small engineering shop machining parts for powerboats and luxury cruisers. Now i repair old watches. I've got a couple of 80's racing bikes i built up from frames one with a 531 frame and the other a nice retro Italian racer with Campagnolo bits.Lost my nerve for riding them on the road, but they are nice to look at ! Used to build electric RC Baja buggies too,was on the Tamiya club site back then. Just started building a beam engine powered by a tealight as a little winter project, great little website here for anyone interested in a bit of kitchen table engineering. www.scraptopower.co.uk/can-stirling

Pretty much anything mechanical for me too. Was an active member of Steam and Model Railway, Vintage Car, and Hotrod clubs in the '80s and '90s. Have a selecton of old pushbikes and old lawnmowers, both powered and otherwise, too many cars, and a tractor that is older than I am with a range of dinosaurous implements to go with it. Old household machines also interest me. Got an English Prestcold fridge that is probably from the '50s and still works very well. I have an aversion to buying new stuff because the old stuff is often better quality than what is available in the shops now.

I'm currently restoring ( very, very slowly ) my wifes 1962 Vespa, and really should now start to look for something silly with 4 wheels for myself.

What, no Lego love? I had to go to the lengths of having kids just to justify my playing with Lego

I'd love a Bren Gun Carrier. The odd one still comes up at farm clearing sales as many were sold off to farmers here after WW2 along with ex military trucks and jeeps.

I'm into anything with wheels or engines too, not got the space for much though ... ^ same I often used to have a choice of cars on the drive then moved onto a choice of motorbikes as you can get more of them into a single garage There's 2 + most of a 3rd small Itallijet kids minimotos in the "when I get time" que retrorides.proboards.com/thread/125072There's also a few rc helicopters ranging from indoor kids toys to semi-pro acrobatic marvels of technology
