Always been a car only nut , since I was able to crawl so my mother says!! The only other thing with wheels? Shopping trollies, love a trip to Asda with the wife!

I started this thread a while back but haven't had a chance till now to update it retrorides.proboards.com/thread/184057/steves-stuff-wheels. I've got all sorts, most of which I have kept from when I was younger. This ranges from BMX's and petrol karts to Lego and model cars ! I do actually have a few cars but working on them usually take a back seat when our daily drivers need fixing. I really have to much stuff !     |

No one into Scalectrix? And slot cars in general. Sold all mine a few years ago when I was skint including some handmade one offs with brass tube chassis and ultralight 20thou thick clear plastic bodies that you painted on the inside. Had some of them since I was twelve (in the 60s)
Still regret selling but needs must when the bank manager drives!

I've got some Scalextric stuff and made a Volvo 940 to take the owners club national. Turns out the track was for the kids and the owner was grumpy so it never got a run.   |

Altogether far too much.
I've a MTB and a BMX, but I don't ride them much as the fun for me is in the building of them, and i used to have six but have sold them off one by one.
Also like motorbikes and have one of those at the minute too, I have a self imposed one only rule so that I don't go mad.
I've loads of Lego vans and trucks I designed years ago before Lego made them and you had to be inventive with bits of other sets.
Still have a massive model car collection although that was very heavily thinned out a couple of years ago. Couldn't have counted, but conservatively 5-7,000 models now down to no more than 1500 hopefully.
I also like diggers, cranes and tractors too, a side-effect of living in the countryside all my life. I don't have any though. Well, I have an old all-terrain forklift which is pretty fierce, but that's for work. Was piloting a JCB 535 17-ft Tele today which was almost brand new but I'm not about to go buy one of those just yet, hiring it will do.

Love those. Do you still use (trust) them? I've always been fascinated by four-wheeled powered creations, ever since I was very young - it dictated what job I decided I wanted to do from an early age, and therefore dictated what educational path I took, where I lived/worked. Cars have pretty much shaped the last 30 years of my 40 year life. I've been through many 'phases' from kit cars, to classic cars, to modified. And after building a campervan I'm currently become strangely obsessed with looking at 'self-build' campers on eBay. By and large they're usually a bit naff, and cobbled together, but occasionally there's a touch of originality and genius.. |

Of course I use them  And do I trust them? Well, I never trust any hydraulic jack. No matter how old... Some of mine have a habbit of sagging under load (very slowly), but the one I use most keeps a heavy diesel Merc in the air as long as you please |

Motorbikes My current two...   And my C90 is actually carrying a Raleigh Wisp there... of which there are 2 in my shed I was taking the frame into work to sandblast. And my last couple...    |

I thought that no one but myself . . ."” I'm a lover of all things wheeled or motored, but due to space and budget limitations, I currently only have 1 car (not retro  ) 1 MTB, 1 skateboard, 1 caravan in the making, full set of Ferrari Lego, and a couple of Choro-Q's. I previously had a motorbike, and second skateboard and a drift RC. If I had the time/space, I'd be inclined to go over the top and build a massive N-gauge train set. |

I have a down hill bike  A jump bike (this is mainly used for cruising along by the canal these days)  BMX  And two RC drift cars. The chassis on the AE86 is RWD and the S14 is on a CS chassis.    |
