Hey folks, it's Thursday, so it is time to share what you are doing with your weekend in a car related way.
The on going theme for me is garages! I put down some levelling compound on a bit of it last weekend and it seems to have helped the floor a bit, so I've got to get more to put down on Saturday, then get the garage back ship shape.
Current plan (if I'm not having some kind of meltdown due to too much work to do) is to go to London on Sunday and get some bits from The Dungeon.
The Subaru has vibration in the steering wheel at 70mph the other day, which is worth investigating as it could be a binding brake or a warped disc, both of which are easy enough to fix when the garage is sorted, annoyingly though I don't have much of a window to sort that if I want to be going to London to get stuff from The Dungeon... too much to do not enough hours in the day.
What are you planning? Any shows/events at this end of the year local to anyone? I guess our internationals will be at different bits of their show season...

I'm lucky, the weekend starts here for me and i've got this nice new Weber to fit! Also got a new inlet manifold gasket to fit and i'm going to get some paint made up for my wheels. So it should be a good weekend. Regards, Matt

This weekend, I am driving to London Stansted from Winchester, to catch a plane the very northern tip of Northern Ireland to look at a car. Then I'm driving it to Dublin, getting the ferry over, and driving all the way back to Winchester. Furthest I've ever been to collect a car, and it'll be a fun road trip back in a lovely coal chucking hunk of Swedish metal.

I've got a team building day with work and then me and a couple of the lads are off to look at 205 GTI 1.6 so we can hopefully take it on as a restoration project. Really need to get stuck into a project for next year

Final Bits of MOT prep on My P4 100 , sealing an exhaust manifold leak, fitting front numberplate and getting the horn working. Providing the weather is good, The car has been kicked out of the garage so I could store some building materials.

Mum really wanted a diesel Volvo. She's also really happy about the £800 in spares in the boot as well...

Hopefully we can keep your mind occupied. As some people may be able to spot already I may be having a little fiddle with styling on the forum to make it a little easier on the eye.

Its Part 2 of my workshop move. This involves taking all the cars to the new place 150 miles away.
I've just got the Patrol MOTd after being sat for a year and a half, so obviously the first thing to do is hitch a trailer to it and drag cars around the country. What could go wrong?!

This weekend I will be mostly trying to figure out how Carb Engines work and how to bring the revs down / Choke fixed on my 1989 Honda prelude. I really don't have much of a clue!
Anyone in Essex that can pop by and get paid in tea and Biscuits to turn some carb screws with me?

I shall be working out how many holes I can put in the Healey bonnet to try to dump engine bay heat without affecting its structural integrity. Also consider the quad DCOE over-fuelling issue and whether stealth injection using the Webers as throttle bodies is the way forward. I've also got to weatherproof the pig house as we have two Oxford Sandy & Black weaners turning up Tuesday and reroof the shed. Busy, busy, busy.
