Right...... Some of you may be interested, some may be following the build on R&S's already. Mods, delete if inappropriate. I have seen some amazing car builds over time on various forums. Here is one that makes me grin madly, as it combines guts, science and raw out the box thinking. Take a mad idea and turn it into reality. Take a look. BUILD THREAD HERE. www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/garage/medusa-206057I know there are better ways, better engineers, other opinions, but hey...... We all need to let our inner child play sometimes. Hope you enjoy. ........... And in 2020...... Been a while. Medusa has been on the road, making waves for a while. However, Robert needed a new challenge. forum.retro-rides.org/thread/215234/temptressClick link and see if you can offer any input.

Had to forward this link to my friend who is building a similar jag powered open wheeled racer, we did consider using twin 4 pots to create a straight 8, It's on hold at the moment, as time and funds are being soaked up by an XJS restoration www.scimitarweb.co.uk/sgwrs/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=23437Ttfn Glenn

Cor. some lateral thinking has gone into that. Had fun reading though the whole thread. Never seen anything like this before. Remote flywheel: All so he doesn't have to hack a cross member out and incur IVA. Amazing!

Somewhere theres a guy who connected 5 or 7 2cv engines together , just because it's possible. It was a static display and a shame it was never build into some sort of automobile. Wish i could find the article.....

Well that's a couple of very enjoyable hours passed, well apart from the grief from swimbo, for being lost to the screen. And just for fun Ttfn Glenn

Just spend the evening reading the 48 pages. At first sight, I was thinking this was more like a pub bet and a project soon to be run out of talent. But then he start to use his lathe and implement some lateral thinking to solve problems. And the project takes off. Certainly better than the sum of parts alone.

Ain't it! I know what you mean, he phrases everything so modestly, then you see what his evening's work's accomplished, and suddenly I'm paying as much attention as I can whilst trying to get my jaw out of the carpet. Astounding build, the lengths he goes to just to get the trumpets!

Likewise, can't remember where I found it (possibly on PH), but I've been addicted to watching this one for a while. Mad english eccentricity at it's absolute best!
