Sorry for the modern content but this is the only car related site I used atmo.
In a few weeks my new electric Golf will be delivered. The standard 16" rims are hidious so are being relegated to winter wheels. That leaves me to find some better looking 18" summer wheels. The wheels ned to be fairly closed design so that I don't create more aerodynamic drag and reduce the range.
I've looked at Rotiform VCEs. They are really nice but also vert exclusive at £899 for four rims. What else is there?

You're not wrong about the standard wheels. They're awful If you go down the Mercedes/Porsche etc. route then you need to start adding in hubcentric adapters and maybe spacers which will be at least a coupe of hundred. Possibly tyres too If you're going up to 18's on standard suspension you then run the risk of it looking like a roller skate, which no one wants. Rottiform, WCI and Fifteen52 are all in at the moment and make some very nice wheels. I love the Fifteen52 Turbo Mags

It will be lowered as soon as Eibach releases their springs that are being testet week 43/44 I won't be going silly low but 30-some mm. I also like the Rota Rundfahren RM100 and RM200 But they only come in 9" wide.

Yeah, they would fit with wobble bolts as long as CB is 57.1 or over.
Mercedes rims will fit with just spigot rings as also 5x112
May also fit Vauxhall wheels with wobble bolts as 5x110
