Hello all, You might have seen a recent thread by HotWire regarding regional RR groups: www.retrorides.proboards.com/thread/167870/regional-retro-rides-revisited#.U6mBBY1dXmwThe regional groups are now live and just wondered who else in the North East is up for joining? It could be a great way of keeping up-to-date with what's happening in the area, and eventually even organising some local meets. You can join yourself or PM me and I'll add you. Anth.

There used to be a really close knit group of North East members and former members of this forum. We had regular successful meets, but there's also "history" surrounding it all. So don't be too surprised if enthusiasm isn't huge.
That said I would definitely be interested in knowing whats going on in the region.

Well, I'm in. Not sure how we find out about what's going on, but I'm showing the Boxster at the Walworth Castle classic meet on 5th July, and the Seaham classic show on the 12th July.

We're going to Walworth on the 5th so we'll see you there - look out for a red Mustang As far as picking show dates up, i'm in a couple of good Facebook groups and we normally get flyers when we're at other shows. Morgan's Yearbook is also good for classic shows. We'll get a show/cruise/meet calendar going when we get a few more faces...

I wasn't about when the North East group was going on qwerty, sounds like it didn't end well. I think it'll just be a 'what's on' group for a kick off, but if everyone gets on there's nowt stopping people meeting up.

Depends where possible things will be happening, I'm at Scarborough but certainly could be interested.
Edit: In addition to the Yorkshire/Humber ones that is.

Can't see why we can't look at 'driving distance' events, which would certainly cover Yorkshire for me. There's bound to be a bit of overlap between groups/areas.
Do you get to Sewerby Hall Neal? Going to try to get down there for at least the Sunday this year.

Only been on the road last summer which was a trial period for the car. This summer however I'm open to alot more travelling (I did 770 miles in one weekend for one show, the A35 owners one) so don't know where they all are yet. Any shows may be considered So any more details of Sewerby Hall?
